mrssloan2013:  am not usually a fan of princess but your Neil Lane princess halo set is amazing! Do you have any other photos of it from different angles?

I have gotten a new ring this year for our 25th anniversary.  My original ring was very delicate and the marquise side stones kept falling out.  I had it modified to a pendant in the pic below – my rings are the bottom portion and the top bezel is my 10th anniversary pendant.  But the stones still fell out.  So now all the ring stones are in a rose gold band and I love it!  So comfortable.  The bottom pics are my 25th anniversary upgrade to a 2.20ctw OMB in an antique style halo.

It was DH’s idea to upgrade my ring at our 15 year anniversary. Originally, he asked me to marry him without a ring, because he felt we should look for a ring together. So technically, I wasn’t wearing the ring he proposed with because there wasn’t one. Regardless, I think if a person puts emotional significance on the rings that is great. I also think that if a person doesn’t put emotional significance on the rings that’s fine, too. The first is my original ring, which I still have. The second is the second ring DH bought.

I’m actually in the process of changing my e-ring setting. Fiance proposed wiht a ring he chose by himself. I loved it but when it came time to look for a wedding band, I didn’t like anything with it! So I ordered a new setting which fits with the style of wedding band I like. My new setting also has a halo, while my original one was a solitaire. I’m excited for my new sestting to arrive and to have my diamond re-set, but am afraid to regret! I’m thorn because I’m attached at the ring my Fiance proposed wiht but at the same time, want a style I like with my wedding band.

Any ladies out there regret having changed their setting?
