I am getting married in less than 30 days, and due to the owner of my venue I am forced to change at the last minute. My invitations have already been printed. I have experienced extremely bad customer service with a paticular venue in the Boerne/San Antonio, TX area. I would absolutely hate for this to happen to anyone else. The owner of the venue has been inconsistent, and has even go so far as accusing me of being dishonest to my own father. If you are getting married at River Rock Event Center, feel free to contact me. Now I have a question, what do I tell my guests when I send them notice?

Are you mailing out an update to your guests, or calling them? I think that in order to avoid gossip or discussion on your wedding day, I would simply state there were a change of plans, and your new venus is ___?___ located @ 123 new address. No further explanation necessary- those who need to know likely already do. That’s just my two cents…

I agree with laurajane – just send an additional thing out – no need to have them printed, just use some pretty paper and your home printer!! sorry to hear that you had a bad experiance!

Since you’re getting married in less than a month, I wouldn’t even suggest sending something printed. When my cousin could no longer have her reception at the auditorium because it got flooded out, she had to find a new reception location in three weeks. She split the guest list between her mother and mother-in-law and they called everyone immediately to make sure everyone received the information. Sending something via mail this close to the wedding may end up not getting seen. Good luck!
