I just have to say that I adore your new ring!! Would love to see photos when you receive the ring as we are very similar finger sizes and I love knowing what the different proportions look like for future upgrades πŸ˜‚ and we’re ring twins πŸ™‚

nursebee22 :  how exciting! Well it is a stunner πŸ™‚

Mine is a bit smaller than yours with a .60 carat center and my sidestones are .21ctw! My fiancé wants to upgrade me on our first anniversary. I want to keep my original setting so we’ll see what we can do! That’s why I always like knowing size proportions πŸ™‚

nursebee22 :  First I have to say your ring is stunning!!!

I’ve upgraded to a bigger stone and for a completely different style  I love it, I think the new ring will look perfect, it has a great size to the stones, and with your finger size it would be just right!

this is my first e-ring and now is a RHR (center diamond 0.59 ct, F,VS,EX  and 70 small diamonds all around in 14 yellow gold )

And for my second anniversary (center 2.43ct 9.25*6.93 yellow diamond W-X, IF, EX and 0.51cttw trepazoids step cut, F,VVS1, EX in platinum and 18 yellow gold) I’m a size 4 with 2 sizing beads -)

I can not wait to see your beautiful ring on your finger it will look perfect πŸ‘Œ don’t forget to post a pic❀️

nursebee22 :  Hi bee, I have to say I recently did this too. I went from a 1.53 carat round center solitaire to a 1 carat pear. I must say I love my pear so much. Yes it is smaller but my 1.53 carat surfaced a little smaller more like a 1.35 and it was an M color with brown undertones and due to its slightly deep cut and my constant wearing black and my skin tone etc etc etc, I just had a super hard time loving it. And since I have always loved pears I decided to revamp everything and ended up going down in size, up in quality and a totally different shape and setting style. I was very worried about going down in size, BUT I do NOT regret it at all and trust me my fingers are a size 7 so you can imagine my worry. But I love it so much and it is by far my favorite center stone so far. I think your skin tone is so beautiful and although I love morganites, I think even though it was a really great size, it can get lost against the skin, where as your moissy is going to pop. I do not think you will be disappointed. Cant wait to see it on your finger πŸ™‚ I have had many many rings and different settings over the years so change is something I am accustomed too but I have never gone down in size before. But again I love my pear so much and would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Regardless of skin tone, morganite and moissanite are optically different… Very different. 6.5 mm is a one carat equivalent and is a great size for your hand. Flanked by other moissys, your new ring is going have an incredible sparkle. Btw, you made a great choice out of the three ring options you posted earlier. I think you’ll be very pleased. And congrats on your new baby!
