You can wear whatever colour you would like!

I bought low heels so that ideally I can wear them all day. I am worried about the hem being too long if I change shoes and then I will stepping all over my dress all night 🙁

I will bring a pair of silver gladiator sandals just in case I HAVE to change my shoes!

No one will see your shoes anyway, and silver is close enough to white that if they DID see them, it would look fine or they might not even be able to tell!

i brought a pair of tights and gold flats to change into. it was an outside wedding and cold out, so i thought i’d want the tights and my shoes were heals that didn’t go with tights. i ended up having super sore feet, so i just put the shoes on. i’m so thankful i had them!

I took a pair of fold up party feet shoes and I’m so glad I did! After 5 hours of being in my heels and being nervous I finally changed my shoes at the reception and my feet thanked me. 😛

I’m definitely changing shoes – but am keeping the same height heel (because I don’t want my dress dragging all over the place).

I changed shoes years ago when I was a Bridesmaid or Best Man – and I can’t tell you how much it helped my feet!  It was also similar height shoes – but it made all the difference in the world.

I’m definitely not the norm… I’m putting shoes ON for the recepion.  Heh.  I’m going barefoot for our ceremony.

You can wear whatever color shoes you want..  for the reception or the ceremony.  I definitely think it’s a great idea to have a back-up pair of comfies ready for you!
