You have over a year till your wedding you have time to decide … Who knows you may change your mind once more lol … If your fiances only hang up is his cousins that’s silly nobody owns a color and nobody in the family will care ….. Now this was my 2nd favorite color scheme and it kinda combined your old ideas with the new red … Do you like this?

If it doesn’t cost anyone else any money, you can change your colors as many times as you want.

If your BM’s have already purchased their dresses, that is the one color you can’t change, unless you are buying the second dress.

It used to be very common for the bride to have a bouquet of red roses no matter what colors the BM’s were wearing or carrying.

They’re both nice. At some point you’re just going to have to stick to your decision. If you want red roses, you can get them regardless of what the color scheme is. Contrast can be good too!

I love red and teal together. You should do that. Best of both worlds.

I love those pictures of the red with the tiffany blue/teal! Maybe you could convince your Fiance to go with that?

In saying that though, I do agree with the PPs that say you don’t really have to pick yet. You still are a fair way out and there’s nothing to say you won’t change your mind again. Why don’t you talk to your Fiance and say that you are having doubts because you love red, but hold off on making a decision until the bridesmaid dresses need to be ordered.

jss77:  I don’t know how many times we changed outer minds on wedding colors! Finally we came to our color scheme of choice when we saw a wedding on HGTV that was beautiful and we’ve still adjusted the color shade twice since then. The only reason that it’s not changed again is that we are out of time.

How about using red as an accent color to something totally different than his cousin’s? Like red and charcoal gray or even silver since it’ll be spring and you may wand lighter coloarsenal.
