We are postponing our October 16th, 2010 wedding to 2011.
We’re doing this for many reasons and I am a little sad, but very relieved at the same time.
So… we’ve narrowed it down to 3 choices. Help us pick, Bees! We are totally open. No date means anything to either one of us.
And… let me know WHY you chose that date if you want , too 🙂 That would be awesome to know.

I picked Sept. 24th because it’s before the MLB playoffs start…FH is a big Cubs fan, so GO CUBS GO!

i picked October 1st because you’ll be a fellow October 2011 bride and i like 10. 1.11 !!! woo hoo!!

I liked Oct 1st for the fun play on the number one: 10-01-2011
Post # 6
I like October 1 mostly because it is the first of the month 🙂

@krissybee Omg, is it bad that the first thing I thought when I read your post was “binary!!”
I’m such a nerd.

@bridetacular- haha thats hilarious!!!!! i have to admit i totally didn’t think that, but I LIKE IT!
p.s. nerd, maybe…. cute, very!

I vote for Sept. 24th, but I’m a little biased 🙂 But other than that, I like 10-1 too..you’d have a binary anniversary (10-1-11). I’m so lame, I know lol.

I voted for September because it’s a month with no other holidays, so it can be your official “Anniversary Month!”

Haha, I love this conversation! You ladies are the best!
I ran things by C and we’re leaning towards the 1st and secondly the 24th.
8th is out.
Thank you for all your input!!

I like October 1st because 1) it would be easiest to remember (some guys have memory issues lol) and the weather should still be nice 🙂
Post # 13
I chose the 1st also! It was the closest to our wedding date which was the 3rd!!
I voted September because traditionally the weather’s still a little warm and I think it’s an underappreciated month. 🙂

We are getting married one of those days too! I like Oct 1st:) Yay date twins!!!

My Fiance was thinking about doing an October 2011 wedding and I vetoed due to baseball playoffs. With the long seasons nowadays, you’re probably OK with either 9/24 or 10/1, though. Also – do you have any (observant) Jewish guests coming? October 8th is Yom Kippur next year.
