This is my first dress post and want to see what you guys think. I am having the neckline changed from straight across, to a sweetheart neckline. When the seamstress pinned it, it looked gorgeous!!! But i realized with horror later that night of course when i couldnt call that it may be showing too much cleavage! What do you guys think? Attached pic of the dress (but of course its not me in it).
I also want to add some sort of embellishment to the top as I feel like the top is rather plain. Thoughts? Did anyone else do this, can you show me your before and after?

I think it’s going to look just lovely as a sweetheart!

For a more religious function, maybe too much (because for some religious functions any cleavage is too much!). Otherwise, I don’t think so. Most sweetheart bustlines I’ve seen are quite subtle and classy, I highly doubt your seamstress is going to dip the line so low as to make it risque.

I did it for my dress and loved it! No pics at work to share, but don’t worry it will be beautiful, feminine and romantic!

Thank you guys!!! I feel it will go perfect with the dress. We are not getting married in a church unfortunately (too much time, effort, money – we’re doing a small Destination Wedding in Texas). We had minister friends who wanted to marry us but its too complicated (we’re long distance right now). I really wish we could but this way will be simpler.
Thanks ladies! Im SO excited!!!
