We’ve been talking about switching our date. Originally we wanted this September, but then switched to next spring, and now talking about going back to this fall, maybe late (Oct/Nov). I already chose my colors as malibu black and white. Question is, does the season really matter when it comes to colors if we’re doing it indoors? I’m reading a lot of stuff about picking colors based on season. I’m struggling eith the whole theme thing–is theme just colors or what? I liked the idea of a victorian style wedding but my dress wouldn’t really go with that and I’m already attached to it.

nestle: You can use any colors, anytime. It’s how you use them that makes the difference. If you use orange with lemons it’s a citrussy summer look. If you use it with pumpkins, it says fall to most everyone.

nestle: +1 pp, I am using some what “summer” colors, with a fall blend, if that makes sense. The date in Dec that we are getting married is still technially fall, since winter does not begin until the 21st, but most people are already looking at as winter and expecting Christmas stuff.

nestle: Malibu black and white. Does this mean like the colors on the bottles of Malibu rum? That’s all I could think of. Please advise.
