We changed out my diamond. We picked the rings together, and about a week after we got them, I realized I wasn’t happy with the center stone. It had looked fine in the store, but out in the real world… it just wasn’t my favorite. So we took advantage of the store’s return policy and swapped it out.

That having been said, if he’d picked it out himself, I would have kept my big mouth shut. I hope. Foot in mouth

My fiance proposed with a diamond ring in a silver band. Almost right after, he told me that he wanted me to have some decision making in the process and we were able to pick out the band that I loved. So, it’s a combination of both the diamond he picked out and the band that I picked! Love it.

@thefuturemrs.o: Your ring is so beautiful–Love it!!!!

@KatieJean: Your ring is beautiful, I can see why you kept it as is! ๐Ÿ™‚

I have thought about adding a wrap or something to make my solitaire have side stones. But I decided against it. If anything maybe one day adding an anniversary band on the other side. But I decided to not change anything about my engagement ring. ๐Ÿ™‚

& Here is my wedding band:

Darling Husband made my engagement ring with his own two hands.  He hates a few inperfections (that I cant even see)and he hates that we can’t add a stone.  He wants to make a new one or order me one to go with our wedding rings and I will not have it.  I love my ring and even if he made another one, I wouldn’t wear it.  I will wear the first one he gave me, it is not for everyone, but it is perfect for me.

This is a funny post… I thought we were the odd balls out when we did this. He actually completely fell in love with the ring he got me(the sides of it look like the chapel we are getting married in) But didn’t like the diamond quality or height of the center stone.  So, almost as soon as he proposed he was like, ok… I have a few center diamonds picked out to replace that…come on! I thought it was so sweet because I love it just the way it was!! And the side view… perfect! I sure wasn’t putting up a fight on that one!!

My Fiance picked out the ring and I wouldn’t change it for the world. I do have the option if I ever want to change it, but I know that I won’t. Here she is.

And with the band.

@KatieJean: It’s beautiful! – We were going to upgrade to this, but I changed my mind. I want the one he took in his hand while his hand was trembling, slid on my finger and asked me to marry him ๐Ÿ™‚

This next one is my original…

Fiance keeps telling me that he wants to get me the bigger version of my ring. I like my ring! I think its perfect, but he brings it up often how he wants to upgrade it. I do not.
