are you wearing a short dress?  otherwise, your dress will be hemmed to the floor with your heel on.  be careful you don’t trip.

If your dress is hemmed for the heels you’ll wear for the ceremony then you’ll be tripping over it in flats at the reception. Why not just wear flats the whole day?

jenrebmol: Aside from the dress length logistics, I love the bottom pair! Do you like the crochet style toms? I think those come in lavender also and are just adorable.

jenrebmol:  I changes my shoes at the reception.  One thing no one tells you, is that your dress will be stepped on often by either yourself, your groom, or your guests.  I never knew that until my wedding day and I was getting so frustrated.  I mentioned it to numerous friends afterwards, and they all say it happened to them as well.  With that said, I would say go for comfort.  It does not matter what length your dress is, it WILL get stepped on at some point.  I changed from heels to wedge Toms, and I regretted not going with flats.  I ended up barefoot even with the Toms.  If I had flats, I would have appreciated it!

I have a low wedge heel for the ceremony and a flat pair for the reception. My heels are comfortable but not all day comfortable lol.

I love the top three! Honestly i wouldnt worry to much about the dress hem. My dress is 6″ longer as I am wearing 6″ heals, i walked aroudn without the heals and it was ok. of course just hold it up a bit if you can!

I love the last pair. I’m also thinking about wearing toms at the reception. 😀

Me too! I have Toms Petal ballet flats for the reception. I’m taking my heels and my flats to my fitting and have her hem it to be an “in between” length so it doesn’t look odd with either.
