I have a channel band and absolutely adore it. It’s so comfortable and feels ultra secure. I will add that I looked long and hard to find a channel band that wasn’t bulky on the gold surrounding the diamonds. I wanted the “side metal” to be quite thin as I found it looked more elegant and romantic as opposed to chunky and heavy. I would definitely recommend doing that!

I have a channel band for my wedding band, and I love it.  I’m just wondering if you are using it for an engagement ring, maybe a pave might stand out a bit more?

The pave band is actually brightset pave – this is the most secure kind of pave, and is actually similar to a channel set in that way. It will be sparklier than the channel set, and more delicate looking. This is my preference for a wedding band actually. I don’t love other pave bands because the diamonds are very exposed – can damage themselves or cause damage to other bands!

    I vote the pave.
