Unfortunately, you don’t have any control over who is in the lobby and how much hustle/bustle of normal life is going on in that space. 

Maybe if there was a separate entrance you could keep your event more self-containaed, but if bathrooms require crossing the lobby – I think you just have to accept that within the ballroom you can have the ambiance you want, but the lobby is a public place.

@RCH1286:  I don’t know what you expect them to do….you may be renting a ballroom, but everyone has to use te lobby and screaming kids and general chaos is just part of life…..it won’t take away from whatever you’ve got going on in your room.

That’s what happens when you use a space that’s In a public building.

Youre price didn’t include the lobby too, so essentially you are only paying for the ballroom and what happens in that space.  You have no control over what happens outside those ballroom doors unfortunately.

@RCH1286:  you have to deal, that one(of many) thing that made me go with the hotel I did, rather then another, is the seperate entrance for the ball room.
