Hey ladies!!
I am having a hard time deciding on which veil length. At first, I was totally against the chapel veils. I wouldn’t even try one on at the bridal salon!! Now, I am starting to feel completely different. So what do you guys think? Any pictures of your own??

Can you show us a pic of your dress? And how formal is your wedding?
I am wearing a double layer veil that has a cathedral length bottom layer and a fingertip length top layer with a pencil edge. We are having a black tie, evening wedding with a church ceremony so I wanted something very formal. This is my dress:

Oooo your dress is beautiful!! We are having a semi formal evening wedding. My whole thought with the chapel veil was that I didn’t want to take away from the back of the dress, now I think the whole look adds to it.

I decided to go with a cathedral veil. I didn’t want one at first because of the details on my dress and there is a LOT going on in my dress.
But when I tried it on I loved it. So for a compromise I got only one layer and no beading or anything, so you can see the details through it.

I was originally planning on wearing a cathedral length veil however I don’t like how it “pulls” down my bridal look, I want a bit more volume. I will probably go with finger tip length or perhaps shorter.

I was having the same debate! I never thought I wanted a chapel/cathedral veil, but they are so beautiful in pictures! I ended up getting a fingertip veil because I think I want to wear my veil throughout the whole reception, and for that, a chapel veil just isn’t practical. But it’s such a tough choice! Either way, I’m sure you’ll look beautiful!

How are you planning to wear your hair? I love the super long veil so I went cathedral length (or slightly longer than my train which was not quite chapel length). I didn’t wear mine beyond photos though because it was impossible to wlk round with. I knew I wanted the long veil for walking in as well as photos, beyond that i was happy to be veil less. I also had a blusher which was significantly shorter. I think you could do either with our dress. Think about how long you want to wear it as well as the purpose of your veil.
