With the cute pink shoes, I would go white shirt. Also, maybe a matching hot pink scarf? Or bag?

And yes, black pants and jacket are always good staples for things like that. 🙂

Me gusta! Even a black more high set cami would look fabulous-but white would be purdy too! I LOVE the shoes!!

@MsPanda: I think it will be adorable! And it’s always good to look put-together without being overdone! Such a fine line. But better to look “too dressy” than not dressy enough, right? I think so at least!

I might be out to lunch, but I would skip the pink flats. Don’t get me wrong — they are super cute. But I don’t think you want to look “cute” as a character witness. To me, pink is a flirty and girly color, which might unconsciously come off to the judge wrong. I don’t think it would wreck your testimony, but I wouldn’t stay on the conservative side. I would think job interview.  Black heels with a conservative (ie no cleavage) top in a neutral or toned done color.

@MissShork: I agree. I would go a bit more neutral and professional – think job interview at a conservative company.

The outfit is very nice, but it screams cute and young – nothing wrong with that normally! But I thnk to a judge you want to seem super-professional and mature.

@MissShork: I agree, I go to court often for work to give testimony.  I always avoid anything that can be taken as “flashy”.  You want the judge to take you seriously as a witness.  I always stick with more neutral colours, if anything do a coloured necklace.  Outside of court that outfit is awesome!

I say “ditto” to what MissShork said.
