(Closed) Chargers???

Busy Beekeeper

I spent the month before my wedding SCOURING for chargers and ended up only finding flimsy plastic ones.

Honestly, my tables were just fine without one.  I ended up doing a table runner and candles, besides the floral centerpiece and the tables had enough ‘stuff’ oh them (with the silverware, wine glass, napkin and menu).  My plan was to do a square fold of the napkin and insert the menu inside… I was going to fold the napkins and was so happy when the venue told me they’d do it for me!  Although, it didn’t work out that way – because somehow – instead of folding them, they put them INSIDE the glasses (ick!) in a frilly fold…

But – to your point – if you have them and they are in your budget, I think they are lovely… but I don’t think they will really be missed, if you don’t have them.  Plus, keep in mind, there are some really cheap ones out there and I think you’d be doing yourself a disservice to put cheap ones on your table.

EDIT – if you do end up wanting them, I’ve seen them often on the classifieds!  Maybe you could buy them from another bee!

@Anna7548: We’re using chargers and I don’t think it’ll be too crowded (I’ve seen tables set up with them at our venue and it looks nice). Our tables can seat 8-10, but we’re seating 8 per table so that its more comfortable for guests and to keep the table from being to busy. Hope that helps 🙂

Sugar bee

I’m planning on buying them for my wedding. The cool/expensive ones but I figure that if I find at least 3-4 other bees around me either in NYC or Houston, we’d come out to about .50-.75 each so that’s pretty good.
