(Closed) Charging for addressing envelopes

Is this for a friend/relative or a total stranger? If it was for a friend/relative, I wouldn’t charge anything, but I would wonder why they were unable/unwilling to do it themselves. I wouldn’t do it at all for a stranger, but that’s just me. Can you elaborate more on the situation?

I did the envelopes for my friend’s wedding, and she offered to pay me, but I wouldn’t let her b/c she’s my friend. If it weren’t for a friend, I would charge $1.00 per envelope. Definitely not less than that. I did the calligraphy for all of my wedding invitations- it was time consuming. So definitely at least $1.00 per envelope. You could also look online, or on Etsy to give you an idea of what pros are charging. Etsy definitely has calligraphers on there who charge for these services.
