mskatie :  you might be super lucky he went with charles and colvard who are the “original “ creators of lab moissanite or jewelry grade moissanite anyway;)

you probably won’t here much talk about them around the hive here maybe because they don’t do custom rings or even customize the ones they do have (I contacted them about a colored moissanite ring for a anniversary band) they told me they don’t do custom anyway I haven’t heard any good or bad about them on here but recently there has been alot of bad about mo co which seemed to be one of the most popular moissanite e-ring stores talked about on here!

so count yourself lucky he didn’t go through the other one 😉

I didn’t buy my ring from C&C so I have no imput on their settings or customer service, but my stone is one of their Forever Ones. I absolutley love it. It has so much sparkle and fire and it is a beautiful colorless white.

drosera :  question as im only learning of Moissy from the bee recently, in your second pic it looks very blue. Is that because it’s reflecting blue from a shirt or item? Or just the lighting? It’s so white in the first photo, does it look that way most of the time?

dcooper1087 :  It just photographs a dark greyblue color like that in direct sunlight for some reason. Maybe my phone camera or something? It looks very white in real life, like in the first photo. That first one was taken outside but in the shade instead of under the sun. I just couldn’t get a photo of the colorful fire in the shade.

I have a white gold engagement ring from Charles and Colvard, and I love it with all my heart. It sparkles MUCH more than the diamond wedding band with which I wear it. I also have a moissy necklace from C&C, also super beautiful, sparkly, and picks up TONS of colors at most times of day and in most settings (neon lights, sun, etc.)

The only caveat: Their jewelry IS absolutely beautiful, and it’s worth the money. But their customer service is slightly lacking. They deliver on time and the packaging is lovely and all that, but they’re pretty bad about getting back to people who have questions. I asked them 3 different things over a period of 5 months or so, and I never received a reply to any of them. Annoying, but I love their craftsmanship SO much that I continue to buy from them and recommend them. 🙂

meliamartinez31 :  Thank you!  When I first saw this style of ring/metal work I fell in love and really wanted it for my ring. It is like a little work of art.  Here it is from the side.
