Waterfront park is where I would love to have it (need less than 25 including the bride and groom). The battery is also popular and I think has less restrictions on size (and a lot of pictures online).

@ajkirby29307:  If you have not made a decision, we are getting married at the gazebo at White Point Gardens. Google it, lots of pics. You will only be allowed 30 people though.

Also, if you are set on the beach wedding, the time of year does matter, but I have been told it is easiset at Folley.

I didn’t use it myself but I have heard good things about the Confederate Home. Apparently, its slightly difficult to get in touch withe ladies that run it but they are sweet and the price is right.

As an update — we didn’t use Angel Oak afterall.  They slapped a rule on us that we couldn’t have chairs.  Also, I was actually really glad we didn’t use it.  The entire park is surrounded by an ugly chain link fence.  I had never been there (destination wedding) prior to going down for the wedding and was disappointed.

A caution about White Point Gardens/The Battery right now: that area is currently under construction and if looking at the water to the left of the park are big construction fences and equipment which aren’t so pretty. Also, we went there to take a few pictures with our wedding party and there were already 3 other wedding parties taking pictures plus a small wedding going on in the gazebo. This is a very busy time for that area. And, there was an ice cream truck parked right in front of the gazebo with it’s music playing, I felt bad for the couple that there were so many distractions. I’m not sure when the construction will be complete.
