NewfieBullet:  if it’s OK with everyone, I’m happy to start a new one – I would love to revive the thread starters luck and avoid a trip to the RE!

rjay:  It’s good to see you back here again!  I’m so glad the OHSS wasn’t any worse!  FX for you!

Feist:  FWIW, Clomid took my LP from 13-14 days to 16-17.  It sucked the first time because I was waiting til AF was late and got BFN’s up to 17DPO.  Even two cycles off Clomid and it’s still that long. It’s crazy.  I really hope that’s not the case for you!

MattieK:  Mentally moving to NTNP is a great idea!  And I’m glad your progesterone was OK!  FX for you that you won’t have to move on, but it really is helpful to know that you have a doctor’s appt set up for if it doesn’t work.  And I’ll try the Preseed for sure. It’s so annoying because it was like this for most of the first 2 years of our marriage and as soon as I went off the pill, it made a HUGE difference, but it’s slowly getting worse again. I’ve already done pelvic physical therapy (which is just as much fun as it sounds :P) and that helped for a couple months, but nothing since then. I’ve asked my OBGYN for help, but she doesn’t know what else to do.  Hoping the RE will have some ideas!

How long did it take to get SA results back for you guys?  I asked Darling Husband today when the results were supposed to be back and he said they told him a couple days.  That was Friday. I’m guessing we should hear this week still then?

rjay:  Sorry that the ER was so difficult…but how exciting that you got two great embryos! Are you going to test soon, or wait for your RE to do it? Prayers for you!

MattieK:  Unfortunately I’m not much help with the SA results, even with my lab experience. I’ve only done a handful of SAs (they. are. awful!) Either way, sounds like pretty promising results! yay! And yay for accidentally TTC this cycle 😉

Kafrine:  Hooray, congrats! You should come post it again on the new thread (which I’m about to open up) so everyone doesn’t miss the chance to congratulate you!

hogoboom2012:  I don’t really know how long the SA took, because my Dr office didn’t return my call/give us results for a month, but I think it’s usually a few days

hogoboom2012: I would say your results should be done by now! Since most tests on semen are time sensitive, they have to be done ASAP so your results are actual valid. It could just be that your dr likes to look at them before releasing the results…have you called and asked, or are they supposed to call you?

AFM, I’ve been using the Clearblue Adv OPK AND Wondfos this cycle…with the excuse that I wanted a longer heads up before O since I’ll have to travel across state lines to Darling Husband AND get my mom lined up to babysit. I got a “high” on the clear blue yesterday and this morning, but didn’t put much stock into it since a lot of ppl seem to get multiple days of high readings, and the earliest I’ve ever O’d (even pre-baby) was CD18. And these days it’s more like CD23. ANYWAYS, I took a wondfo this afternoon and got a blaring positive! Then confirmed with a “peak” on the digi. Whaaaaaat?! Too late for me to make the drive today (it’s 7 hours!), but called my mom so she can babysit and booked a hotel for tomorrow night! Hopefully that little eggy stays put until at least tomorrow evening…I usually O the day after a pos OPK, so here’s hopin my body actually cooperates for once! And also, here’s hopin that one day of BDing gets the job done. Not ideal, obvi, but our only option!

ps, in case anyone was wondering…it’s only a *little* awkward asking your mom to babysit so you can go get some booty. Hahahaha.

    Roll Call!

    TTC/TTA: TTC

    CD/DPO: cd13

    Cycles TTC/Charting: 9

    Age/SO’s Age: 31/34

    POAS/AF Date: 10/23

BFP Plan and/or Known Issues: no known issues. We were game for Irish twins after baby was born 17 months ago, but started “trying” trying 9 months ago. Biggest issue is time for bd (and desire to bd daily/ever other for 10 days, to be frank). Tried preSeed, no dice!

Random question: Do you prefer to shower at night or first thing in the morning, and why? Night. Hair is so time consuming!

Poll question: can we go back to summer?

so my temp dropped a lot this AM and a tiny but of spotting – is AF coming early this month or could it be something much more excitin. Trying my best not to get my hopes up but it’s hard, nauseous this AM (unusual for me) and really strange vivid dreams last night….

Random question: Do you prefer to shower at night or first thing in the morning, and why?

At night – it’s relaxing before bed and Im usually very lazy in the AM

Poll question: pumpkin spice everything and perfect weather for using the oven every day! Cookies and roasted veggies and pizza and …..
