feedthebeags :  Not yet. I’m trying super hard to wait until Monday when I’ll be 11 DPO. I only have one test in the house, and it’s a FRER, so I don’t want to waste it. I have no way right now of buying more without it being super obvious, and Darling Husband doesn’t not support lots of testing, lol! Might as well be peeing on dollars! 😉 I’m struggling to wait though, even though I have no indication that I’m pregnant, I just want to test!

Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing a huge temp dip at 6dpo? It’s really too early for implantation, and I had one last cycle too so I’m pretty sure it’s not that. Could it be a sign of a progesterone issue?

Here’s an overlay with my last cycle and my BFP cycle, just for kicks:

sleepymelis :  I mean it is possible to implant at 6DPO so I wouldn’t rule that out. I wouldn’t be concerned it being a progesterone issue only because your temps did spike high above the cover line so as long as they go back up I wouldn’t stress it. Did you temp vaginally? Because sleeping with your mouth open can cause temp variations. FWIW I did have a similar dip last cycle very early on

sleepymelis :  estrogen surge. I  often get a bit of a dip around 5-7 dpo too. Not as extreme as yours but probably you just have a more dramatic surge or respond more to hormones

feedthebeags :   amanda1988 :  thx ladies! I do temp orally but I’m pretty sure I don’t sleep with my mouth open. Estrogen surge makes sense. Also being a strong hormone responder makes sense given my wildly fluctuating temps on a regular basis…

sleepymelis : do you think it’s your tsh? have you had any other blood tests done?

amanda1988 :  can TSH affect temps? I had it tested once more and it’s still slightly elevated. I go to a specialist to check it out (and hopefully prescribe meds) on April 2.

I really just want someone to prescribe meds before I get pregnant again (FX). God forbid that was the reason for the MC and I don’t get it worked out in time… 😕

sleepymelis :  yeah, since tsh affects metabolism which affects temps.. hypothalamic ppl run cold, often.. though your chart is no colder than mine but I have to aszume it’d at least be warmer if you had your levels under control.

Luckily high tsh is super easy to fix.. just a little pill you take daily

Daylight savings time today. I tested an hour later than usual . Do i need to adjust? But what about moving forward? My time will be an hour off for the rest of the cycle then….

FoolsintheRain :  I’d treat it like how I treat flying to a timezone an hour off. Adjust today, but by tomorrow assume you’re on the new timezone schedule. The rule I was told growing up is that each day your body can adjust by one hour (this is re: jet lag of course). This past year I traveled a lot and this worked for me well if it was just a timezone or two.

feedthebeags :  I recently joined an Ava group and found out the skin temp drop after AF is pretty common. It’s slowly started to creep up in the last few days now. Hopefully O soon!

amanda1988 :  thanks.

So here is my first ever chart. I missed a day due to dd sleeping in bed with us when she was sick. Does putting in thr negative opk data influence things?  Im on cycle day 13 and boxes on the calendar are edged in green. Im assuming this means potential fertile week??
