Nickig_4:  FX the spotting is implantation. Has it gotten heavier? When is AF due? I’ve had mid cycle spotting as well! It’s all okay!

I’m going to sound crazy for saying this, especially on a Charters thread, but I’ve decided. In order to spare my emotions for however long this TTC journey takes, I won’t be POAS until I am sure AF is late. My cycles are usually 10-11 days so that isn’t too long really. I just don’t want to put myself through that each month. Now, let’s hope I keep to that.

Ideas- I just took my temp (I check it randomly during LP to see how high it gets!) and it was super low. DH and I literally just carried a huge thing of cat litter and water up three flights of stairs. It seems all of my stuff (LH surge, Ovulation) seems to happen in the evenings/over night…this could possibly be an implantation dip later in the evening? Not getting hopes up, but just curious. ETA: My temp this morning was 97.2 and when I checked around 8:50 it was 95.5.

KatiePi:  Your not crazy, just probably more saine.  I don’t have any advise except your just going to have to wait it out, and try to relax.

KatiePi:  1. My temps are worthless if I take them at any point that isn’t waking time. That’s just me though! It never helped. And 2. The one cycle that my DH hid my HPTs, I didn’t Poas until 14dpo (AF was due the next day), it was the cycle that I symptom spotted the most, but it also kept some hope alive. Most of my others I Poased at 8dpo and was a nay-sayer until AF arrived! I think it’s nice to have hope, just keep it light. 🙂

FreckledFox:  Agreed! I’ve got some signs, but of course they could be either early pregnany or PMS type signs. It’s nice to see how they pan out, just don’t want to get my hopes up too much.

Disregard prior inquiry about late implantation. Took another temp just now and back up to 97.4. Must have just been a weird fluke.

smilestorm:  Yes that’s what I thought too – you’re at the exact right spot for implantation bleeding. fx x

Just giving an update and need to vent somewhere….. I’m on CD25, 11DPO. AF is due on Wednesday.

On 8/9DPO I had insanely faint beige colored CM when I wiped and I thought, hm, that’s weird.. (way earlier than when my pre-AF spotting normally occurs). I had no spotting or colored CM yesterday at 10DPO but when I wiped this morning there was some light pinkish brown CM on TP AND in toilet….

My heart sank as soon as I saw it. This is our 5th TTC cycle and I’ve been observing my CM/spotting for awhile now, so I know this means the beginnings of AF (I’m a spotter)… I know I’m not technically “out” till AF shows but I feel crushed. Maybe it’s premature but I’m insanely depressed right now. We had SUCH a good FW, we were both relaxed and into it for the first time since our CP in October, and we did it a lot. I don’t know how I’m going to get through the weekend now – so many family events and obligations. All I want to do is crawl under the covers and numb myself on Netflix.

What makes me feel even worse is that FF said only 4-5% of pregnancy charts have spotting at 11DPO. That’s like, next to nothing. So not much hope there. (here’s my chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/krystalite).

krystalite:  Do you check internally too? If I had spotting close to AF, usually it’d be red blood inside. I hope it’s just late old IB blood!

KatiePi:  You don’t sound crazy to me. This is how I’m approaching it too. I spend most of my emotional freak-out energy waiting to O (totally counterproductive, I know, since stress probably does not help, but the “moving target” thing I’ve been experiencing is sort of frustrating and I’m trying to be gentle with myself about it). So by the time my LP rolls around, the prospect of waiting 13-14 days to find out if AF will be late doesn’t seem nearly as tough. The known quantity of it feels kind of comforting, actually. Perspective shows up in funny places, no?

In related news, it would be REALLY nice to ovulate some time soon! We’ve been good about BD EOD this cycle, and I’m trying to just keep that up and not fixate otherwise. But I honestly thought it was happening early this week, and it doesn’t look that way now. More wait-and-see for this girl.

krystalite:  I’m sorry about the spotting. I truly hope this cycle is it for you, but if not, try to let all those weekend plans keep your mind off things.
