SaltedCaramel:  I’m having some cavities filled 🙁 everything I have read says to wait until the second trimester to do them…but I’m not sure if it would matter if I was pregnant/so early on.

BeverlyGeese:  From what I’ve read, dental hygene is more important than I ever thought. So Most doctors might tell you to get the cavity filled, or something if it could cause more problems while you wait for the second trimester. If you can wait, maybe do it. I’ve gotten a cleaning at 4weeks, and i have another one when I’ll be about 7 months. Hopefully it’s all clear!

FreckledFox:  That was kind of my thinking and why I will most likely have it done. I hear your teeth can change a lot during pregnancy and I would rather avoid a root canal or something even worse! If I do get a bfp, I will probably ask for a child dose of the meds.

SaltedCaramel:  IUI timing is different than BD timing because washed sperm has a much shorter lifespan than unwashed sperm, and thawed frozen sperm even shorter — maybe 12-24 hours at the outside?  Plus, because the swimmers are deposited directly into the uterus and bypass the cervix, they can swim right past the Fallopian tubes if the IUI is done too early!  Ideally, the IUI should be within 6-12 hours on either side of o.  The trick is knowing when that is…  Sorry if I missed it, but when are you planning to retest?

BeverlyGeese:  I hope you’re right and the huge temp drop means something good, I just have to wait 9 more days. I’m sorry about the BFN, but 9 DPO is still super early, fingers super crossed you get a BFP very soon!! Looking forward to your next POAS update!

@saratiara2: thanks for the feedback, I guess I just have to relax and just wait 🙂

kes18:  My O date has varied from 12 to 25, but my LP has always been between 12 to 14 days. LP should be consistent, I think this cycle you ovulated on CD14

SaltedCaramel:  I decided to start the progesterone, my doctor said I would ovulate about 36 hours after the trigger, which is the same O date as per FF. I had originally planned to stopped temping after today, but I’m now considering temping 1 more day to confirm my temp goes up again

LittleRiver:  Thanks for the graphic! I remember seeing that one or one similar to it a long time ago, but I wasn’t able to find it again. I’m going to send it to DH, he’s been asking a lot of questions this cycle and that graph has most of the answers he was looking for. I hope you don’t need to have many appointments this cycle and your doctor can time your IUI perfectly!

FreckledFox:  I’ll warn you I had a cleaning at about 30-31w and it was completely uncomfortable.  I either had to try to lie on my side or get up every 5 minutes to breathe.  Is it necessary that they put that chair sooo far back?  It was okay in the beginning but I was dying by the end.  Just an FYI haha.

Turtle83: You might be right! 7 days seems so short

FreckledFox:  I think I might have to get some OPKs.  You just start a few days before you think you’re going to O right?  I use my Dad’s amazon prime account and he’ll probably be like “what the hell is this..?”  He called me after I ordered my diva cup because he was concerned (ok, I wasn’t married at the time) and didn’t know what it was.  Sigh…haha.

FreckledFox:  I went to the dentist at 8 wks and they suggested we schedule my second apt. of the year about a month after baby arrives, so that’s what we did. If not, 6 months later I would have been rather large and uncomfortable. I’m glad they offered me that option.

kes18:  Omg dont tell me that! I’m pretty sure my appointment is like 30 weeks exactly! Ugh…  and Yes! for the opks.. I would start 2 days before my earliest O, which for me was around cd12. And I’d take multiples a day (3x) when I was getting tons of EWCM.

SaltedCaramel:  I have been reading a lot about it and everything says it’s best to wait til second trimester for any dental work that is more than cleaning…and definitely not to schedule third tri due to uncomfortable position! I will still likely have the dental work done on Saturday regardless of my poas outcome! I just like to be prepared!

Totally unrelated to all things charting but I just cut an onion and for the first time In my life, didn’t cry! Haha. I had to share because I feel like that is an accomplishment. Of course my TTC brain immediately thought: I must be pregnant if that happened!!
