candy11:  Fingers super crossed for you! Use a dollar test when you test again, in my experience they’re more sensitive than wondfos πŸ˜‰

FreckledFox:  We also want to find out the gender and prep the room even though we want the nursery to be gender neutral hahaha… you gotta update us when you find out!

FreckledFox:  Oh I love that idea, too!!! Totally understand about the nursery and prepping things at home. I’m so type A that if I hadn’t been a nanny for the past 8 years, I would have to know for that reason. But babies are so adaptable and honestly ours will probably live in zip up jammies and white onesies the first 8 weeks anyway.

Turtle83:  We also want to save arguments over choosing a name! We have a girls first name picked out for sure, and if its a girl, then great. If its a boy, then it’s gonna be tough! I want to avoid any and all stresses! Planning my sisters baby shower, and buyin and making gifts for her was SO difficult as team green. She didn’t want blue, so everything was green white and yellow. It left a creative person very frustrated haha.  πŸ˜€

BeverlyGeese:  I hate the color pink, and I’m not very into purple either haha. But we do love blue green, robots, and dinosaurs so if its a girl, clothes will be neutral, if its a boy, we’re going all out! Haha  πŸ˜€

BeverlyGeese:  Seriously! I have major “oh I should have had/done X” regret these days — one last cocktail, one last sushi dinner, one last scalding hot bath… you’d think I’m on death row! Although last night DH had a glass of red wine and the smell of it was just… wrong to me, which is a major first. So I guess my body is trying to keep the regret in check, haha.

FreckledFox:  We already have a girl’s name picked since we were engaged lol DH has always wanted to have a daughter and he already had a name picked since then. When I was pregnant last time, he was confident it was a girl and I thought it was a boy, it turns out DH was right. He’s been pretty optimistic the medicated cycles will work and sometimes he even talks about future plans with our daughter, yeah he’s so sure we’re going to have a daughter, he’s silly!

Turtle83:  Us too! While we were dating I had a name, Amelia Rose that was my favorite name my WHOLE LIFE! And then we got engaged, and DH agreed that it was our top choice. Ater we got married, DH’s BFF used that name! They used both first and middle! What are the odds?? Booo!! so our #2 is Faye. That’s our girls name. No middle name yet. I don’t mind telling people, because maybe then they will know it’s ours mwahahah!

FreckledFox:  That is kind of another reason I don’t want to find out. You never know what baby shower items you will get and people loooove to give clothes. I am also aware of how quickly kids grow, and if I can keep neutral for a second baby I would feel better about getting use out of the clothes. We have a boy name chosen (family name) and will likely go into the hospital with a few girl options, and probably one more Boy we both agree on.

brlabrat:  I have been living it up this tww (seriously, got sushi twice!) I’m going to look like a fat fool when I get a BFN and have to do it all over again next cycle!! I’m pretty sure I’ll ask for wine to be administered thru an iv after birth. I have no idea how I will be able to go an entire pregnancy if I can’t make it 3 Days. (Shame)

FreckledFox:  wow, what’s that a coincidence? or did they “steal” your name? Another coincidence, Rose is our top choice for middle name!! Isabella is the first name, I hope nobody in my circle of friends uses it before we have a daughter, but DH doesn’t care if anyone else uses that name he still plans to use it! hahaha

Turtle83:  Isabella Rose is beautiful too!

DH and I have never been able to agree on girls names. I love super old lady names for babies (think Eleanor, Coraline, Vivienne). We will most likely use Andrew for a boy as it is a family name. I also am partial to Margaret for a girl (also family name on both sides) or Margeaux. I also want to see the baby before giving it a name. with my luck we will pick one out and the kid will look nothing like that name!

BeverlyGeese:  I’m hoping that my family knows me well enough (big tomboy) that they wont get is ruffles, although my nieces little clothes make me melt sometimes!!

Turtle83:  I KNOW! We didn’t tell them our name.. how weird is that? His friends are huge Doctor Who fans, so we think Amelia is a nod to Amelia (Amy) Pond. And I don’t know where Rose came from! I have another friend who also like Amelia Rose! I didn’t know it was so popular! Isabella Rose is SO pretty! Faye is such a toughie with a middle name! I like Faye Victoria (grandmothers middle name), but DH isnt a fan! He wants funky names like Nova, or Meridian. Science geek. πŸ™‚

BeverlyGeese:  I LOVE old lady names. πŸ™‚ I usually look at the list from the 1800s or older.  πŸ™‚ Love Eleanor, and Margaret was my top name before meeting DH, but its already in DHs family. Coraline is actually an option for a middle name for Faye.  πŸ™‚ God help us if we have a boy…
