candy11:  Hah, I’ve though about that too. I’d much rather have two babies in one go as opposed to going through all this again. Even the stress of the increased pregnancy risks and health issues for twin babies seems easier than this. I can’t imagine it would be any easier adding being over 35 to my journey, though I’ll likely have to if we don’t have twins lol, since I’ll be 33 this month. I’ve always like the idea of twins, but have no family history of it (I mean my dad is one of 13, all single births!)

auggiefrog:  I’m sorry about AF πŸ™ I think if you and your DH want to try the SMEP, go for it, but if you do less Bd, it’s still a wonderful amount of Bd!! Have you looked into self fertility massage? I started doing that the month I got my bfp and I just felt like I was doing something to help. I youtubed it!

saratiara2:  thanks for your words.  Those are really important things to remember. I might just temp around O, to confirm it, and then stop this month.  I’m really hoping April is our month.  We deserve it!

Aqualov:  Thanks for your words and advice. I totally get the expecting AF mindset. Usually I’m pretty good at dashing my hopes each month, so when AF comes it’s not a big surprise.  Even though odds were not in our favor this month, I still was pretty optimistic.  Darn optimism! Hopefully next month it will be easier to keep the ‘expect AF’ mindset.

LittleRiver:  You’ve been such a wealth of knowledge regarding femara and the trigger, thank you! Trying not to read too much into the chart but it’s so hard not to!!

FreckledFox:  Can you give me more info on fertility massages?  I looked into it a bit, but I got a little overwhelmed and stopped. What YouTube video did you use?

Feist:  Ooh, ok, that is definitely weird then since the advanced tests should be giving you positives before the strips. Hopefully you can get your money back then!

Kabatchy2be:  I can’t remember if I asked, but when do you plan on testing? I’m also 4 DPO and plan to test at 12 DPO.

AFM, sitting here impatiently at 4 DPO! And that’s about it for me, lol. I think it’s going to be a quick TWW! I’ll be focusing on passing my fitness test on Wednesday and work is busy now so before I know it, it’ll be next weekend and I can test! πŸ™‚

I have been completely swamped at work, so I’m completely behind, and will try to catch up soon. In the mean time:

auggiefrog:  I’m so sorry, I know exactly how you feel. It is SO hard sometimes to stay optimistic, but not get TOO optimistic. I agree with a lot of pps advice that often stepping away from WB and charting and all that craziness can really help. I had to do that after my CP, and it helped a lot. I also stopped temping after O, stopped using OPK, and since I have a pretty regular cycle, I got a lot less intense about temping. For me it helped to keep it just part of my life, and not have TTC take over my life/emotions. Hugs to you, and do whatever it is you need to do to be at peace. Of course you know we are here for you, and just remember, you WILL be a mother one day, but my fingers are crossed that that day is soon!

MiJeS1104:  YAY1 congrats for doubling betas, and FX for a sticky little one!!

AFM, I got my progesterone and thyroid levels tested on Thursday (7DPO). My thyroid levels were normal, which is great, because my family has a strong history of hypothyroid. The REAL shocker is that my progesterone was 15 — I couldn’t believe it! I think it’s a little like when you take your car to be fixed and then it stops making the crazy noise as soon as you try to show the mechanic, haha. So far now I’m 9DPO with no spotting, which is the longest I have gone without spotting since being off BCPs. What the heck, corpus luteum, get it together! I just hope this trend continues.

MattieK:  Thanks. I think I’ll still check in on here, but I might not be on so often.  I really don’t have much to talk about before O anyways, but I feel good supporting those who support me. I think I’m going to try a more relaxed temping this month.  Maybe I’ll cut out OPK’s too.

auggiefrog:  I used this video: http://youtu.be/RBhifKPeqg0. The lady gives info on which massage movements to use pre-O and post O. I mostly did the ones for pre-O like pressing down on my groin arteries and releasing to increase blood flow to my uterus and just general movements over my stomach where my uterus is. πŸ™‚

NewfieBullet:  How many HPTs did you keep? I remember you said, you gave them to your friend to keep. I decided not to buy any this time. I only have two dollar tests.

MattieK:  Your tests results sound really good. That reminds me, I need to get tested soon. FX you get your BFP in a few days.

Is anyone excited to POAS around Easter? I looked at my FF calendar, and it seems likely I will be testing around Easter. I imagine putting the BFP test inside a huge egg. lol! πŸ™‚ I love bunnies.

candy11:  None! I bought 5, got a bonus and gave them all to a friend. I convinced her to give me a test at 12 DPO (AF is due 13 DPO) because I don’t want to POAS on a Monday (she’s all about waiting till AF is late). I do have a digital First Response that I got for $5 but I’m going to hang on to it until I use a cheapie.

Also, I love the idea of putting your test into an Easter egg!
