I forgot how hard the TWW wait is. I’m totally trying not to symptom spot but of course I am and I’m trying to pinpoint if I felt these things last pregnancy and comparing my charts. The vivid dreams the last two nights are throwing me off, I really don’t think those started this early last pregnancy so I’m guessing it’s stress or sleep deprivation which also accounts for my fatigue. I think all my cycles I had cramping this early so that’s really nothing either but I can hope.  My DH is not helping any either, everything I say he asks if it’s a baby.

auggiefrog:  Thanks! Yeah I was going for Wisconsin!  I like the Big 10 better and I can’t in good conscience go for Duke (or Kentucky or UNC lol).  Too bad!  At least it was a good game.

Anyone want to start a new thread? We’re at 34 pages.

Sad news today. Last week, I heard that a student at one of the other high schools committed suicide, but they didn’t release the student’s name. They did over the weekend while I was out of town. He was a former student of mine and this absolutely fantastic, funny, smart kid. He was only 17. This just breaks my heart. He was incredible and had so much potential. Awful.

ruby26:  I’m sorry about AF, but yay! for actively TTC and another family wedding!! So exciting!

hogoboom2012:  I’m sorry that you’re struggling with the idea of using fertility meds, I can relate I never expected TTC to be a struggle, but I just had to adjust my expectations and accept the fact that I will need additional help and that’s fine, I just want to complete my family and I’ll do whatever it takes to have children. I hope clomid does the trick and you get a BFP very soon!

AFM AF this cycle has been brutal Too Much Information alert I haven’t had that much blood nor cramps since I was in college, I have headaches and I’m in so much pain. Before AF started I spotted for days, really dark blood, almost black, that has never happened to me with any of my previous chemical pregnancies. I miss my regular 2 days of medium/light bleeding.

We’re not doing a medicated cycle this month, my RE doesn’t want me to take any meds and she feels my body needs to recover, I don’t see why it needs to recover from a chemical pregnancy, but whatever. I think it’s really because she wants to meet with us and discuss options, but she was fine with us trying naturally, so natural it is! i.e. temping, OPKs, checking CM, so natural! πŸ˜‰ We have a follow-up appointment with the RE in 3 weeks, so I need to start compiling my list of questions.

kes18:  I didn’t watch the game, but it looked good.  I heard a lot of complaints of bad ref calls on FB though.  It’s going to be a rough day in WI though, the Brewer’s lost their season opener yesterday, and now this.

KatiePi:  I’m so sorry about your former student.  It’s so hard when we loss people in this way, especially when they have so much more life to live.

Turtle83:  Sorry about your crazy AF.

redhead46:  TWW is killer!  I hope your symptoms lead to a BFP!  When do you test?

It’s been pretty quiet here.  I’ve had some cramping, but I swear I have cramping every month, so it’s really nothing new.  Although I have been temping, I’ve been really warm at night under my down comforter, so I’ve been sticking feet or knees out of the bed to cool myself down.  I wake up freezing, and I think this accounts for the lower temps.  I woke up will my whole body under the covers and had a much higher temp.

KatiePi:  That’s so sad about your student. I work at a middle school and we had a student suicide this year. It’s just awful.

auggiefrog:  I think I’m going to test tomorrow at 8 DPO. It’s really early but that’s when I got a super squinter BFP last time.

KatiePi:  oh no, I’m so so so sorry!  I can’t imagine what it must feel like to lose one of your kids, especially to suicide.  I don’t know if it’s appropriate to call students kids on this thread, but it’s how I think and feel about mine.  Hugs!

hogoboom2012:  Sorry you’re stressing about all of this. Hopefully the fertility meds are what you need. One question, I don’t recall if I’ve asked before, please ignore me if I have- is there a particular reason that your doctor chose Clomid instead of Femara? Clomid is known to aggravate Endo (it’s an estrogen) so is rarely used in women with Endo. Femara is usually used instead since it works on a different mechanism and is good at reducing Endo inflammation and pain.

KatiePi:  Ugh.  That’s so sad.  DH’s cousin committed suicide the spring we got engaged and it rocked the whole family.  He was only 16 and it was horrible. I’m so sorry πŸ™

Turtle83:  I’m sorry AF is being so awful this month πŸ™ I hope the unmedicated cycle is helpful for your body to recover and that all of your questions can be answered! Thanks for the reassurance on the Clomid too.  I know that it’s nothing against me or anything and I’m thankful for the help.  Today has been better.

Aqualov:  I asked my doctor about it and mentioned what I knew about Clomid and estrogen. Because she just did a lap in Oct and I haven’t had any pain since, she’s feeling OK about moving forward with Clomid until July, but she’s going to a conference next week for fertility and endo and will be asking there.  She doesn’t like to use Femara because she doesn’t think it works as well.  If we’re not pregnant by July, we’ll reevaluate and probably try Femara instead.  I’m a little concerned, but based on all of my charts, symptoms, etc she’s almost positive that the problem is more due to the PCOS than the endo and that Clomid is the way to go.

candy11:  Thank you ladies. It just broke my heart. I will always wonder why he took his own life and that maybe if I had him, I would have noticed something and been able to help, but I bet many people feel like that right now.

So I’m at home again due to the strep and it’s like Amoxicillin isn’t working. Just woke up from a nap with a higher fever (100.7) than I’ve been having. I feel awful!
