    @Feist  Its funny – I was totally bumming about this last cycle (hence my disappearance from the boards). I originally wanted to have it on CD 2 (since I am really predictable and literally ff hasn’t been wrong with af due date until this weird delayed o) so I could get all of the blood work and ultrasounds done for testing. Apparently the universe saw it differently…delayed my o by two days and here we are jumping right off the high dive into our first iui! I have to admit, it did work out perfectly and it’s another annoying example (in my personal life) of things happening for a reason/at a time you least expect.

    @arielmerms  Thanks ladies.

    @arielmerms  Lol, somehow I’m now picturing them in a train with conductor hats, like the Little Engine That Could.

    @arielmerms  Steroids definitely give you extra energy. I can’t sleep on them. Getting up earlier sounds much better than insomnia!

    @arielmerms  I hope it’s not ectopic. Either way you’re in my thoughts and I’m wishing you well.

    @arielmerms Welcome! Waiting sucks. Hopefully the times goes by quickly.

    Update: Thanks for the comments, ladies.  I was lucky enough to get an appointment next Wednesday with a RE.  And they take my insurance, woohoo!

    I got in with Shady Grove Fertility.  I always heard their commercials on the radio… Anyone in the DMV area have experience with them?  I’m going to their Towson, MD office…

    I will try and catch up later but I just wanted to pop in and say that I gave my first honest answer today when asked about baby number 2. It was my boss (who is leaving later this month). He has a baby close in age to mine and I know they’re trying or wanting to try soon at least for a second child. It wasn’t awkward actually,  I just said that yes we actually already tried and failed, one of which was a miscarriage, and that we were now having to plan around a destination wedding.

    @arielmerms  I saw that temp bump this morning!  Looking good! FX!

    AFM, I’m dreading telling DH that my temp dropped when he gets home today. Normally I would want to BD tonight to go back to EOD since my cervix is high and my CM is fertilish, but he has a big test tomorrow. I know me not ovulating is going to stress him out, but I know he’ll ask about it. I wish we could just put that conversation off until after his test. And now we have to BD this weekend while sharing a vacation house with my parents. Ugh!

    I guess the upside is that from my symptoms I feel like my estrogen has gone up from the clomid – very sensitive sore nipples & center of breasts, recurrent yeast infections & vaginal pain is finally gone. So even if I don’t ovulate, I will probably have enough estrogen to bleed from progesterone. Which means I can avoid exogenous estrogen which for me has way worse effects than Clomid.

    @arielmerms  Dammit, sorry about the BFN. FX it’s just too early. Have fun at the wedding–even though I seem to recall it not being the happiest of occasions! Good luck, at least! 🙂

    @arielmerms  Well crap, sorry about that. Hopefully that’s the ovulation dip. I am sure you could just about smack your doctor for giving you those steroids right about now.

    @arielmerms  Oh SHIT, I’m so sorry!!! That is the opposite of what you wanted to hear, I’m sure. I hope everything goes well tomorrow, honey.

    @arielmerms  Oh man, I’m sorry that DH keeps shutting you down–obviously he is still hurting too. Poor turtles, hugs to both of you. Wear those bruises with pride though! You are a warrior for tiny turtle! I also found that I had a bit more energy on prednisone when I’ve taken it for my headaches, and all over itchiness! But that was it for me as far as side effects go. How long will they keep you on it?

    @hogoboom2012  Thanks.  10 day LP isn’t awful but yeah it’s not the best with the spotting 2-3 days before. I was hoping to get it to about 12 days so that the spotting wouldn’t start until at least 10dpo. But this was just such an odd cycle with all my pregnancy symptoms, none of my AF symptoms and no spotting but then the short LP.  Oh well, onto the next cycle.
