redhead46:  May I ask if you are using the pre-seed to enhance(?) your CM? I was wondering about trying that or Mucinex but wasn’t sure if one worked better. I like the idea of not having to take meds if I don’t have to.

redhead46:  FX for the thread-starter’s luck!!

arielmerms:  Still hoping the thread-starter’s luck comes through for you soon from the last thread!! Thanks for the compliment on the quilt–I just love the pattern! Do you normally cut all of the fabric first and then sew it all, or cut a little, sew a little, repeat?

howsweetitis:  I cut it all then sew the top all at once.  I like fussing around with the arrangement of things too and I need to have everything cut out to do that.  I’ve recently discovered the awesomeness that is pre-cuts!  The wedding guest book quilt was charm packs and the quilt above my baby one was from one jelly roll.  My king size quilt is going to be two layer cakes and some extra yardage around the sides.  I’m also hoping I still get the thread starters luck ๐Ÿ™‚

redhead46:  Thanks for starting the new thread. We are cycle buddies this time, too ๐Ÿ™‚ I hope it brings you great luck!

LMD:  Replying from the last thread – I can’t believe you got in to see an RE next week! I had to wait like…6 weeks and I thought that was fast. I hope it goes well!

howsweetitis:  I agree…drink til it’s pink! However, my RE has some pretty strict guidelines regarding alcohol and exercise. I am not allowed to do either (minus 3 hours of light walking a week) after the trigger shot. I’m also going to stop drinking with the femara because I have read some things that say it doesn’t mix well. I am already a lightweight and I’m sure I would get all rage-y if I mixed hormones and booze. But…all that said, had I given up alcohol for the last 12 cycles, I would have gone insane. it has been my coping mechanism. (And I am planning to get semi drunk tomorrow night before I start meds Saturday!)

arielmerms:  A little late to the game (I’m back on the bee haha) but damn…you had great timing!

LilyBlossom:  I use both. Mucinex definitely brings out more ewcm for me – and (probably tmi but it’s a ttc board) our anatomy is a little “off” so I NEED lube…and pressed is one of the only sperm friendly lubricants. So, that is my recipe for success.

Random question: What is your favorite reality show? Darling Husband and I don’t usually watch reality tv. I guess I’d say The People’s Couch? It’s the only one that if I see it’s on, I’ll tune in!

Poll question: Gave up alcohol for a bit… but not anymore. I’m living my life as usual until I see pink lines.

redhead46:  I hope you get the thread starter luck!

howsweetitis:  I hope this cycle is a lucky one for you!

arielmerms: Those quilts are amazing. You are so good at making them. ๐Ÿ™‚

howsweetitis:  Thank you. I found it was a lot cheaper to make my own maternity pants. Is that your quilt? Are you trying to make one like that? It’s a lovely quilt. I love the design and colors.

Random question: What is your favorite reality show?HGTV shows, the Kardashians. I’m not a fan, and I think they have really fucked up values, but being a dramaturg I’m fascinated by the reimagining of verisimilitude to incorporate consciousness of the camera instead of the fourth wall of realism, and how the “reality” format has infiltrated traditional fiction. I like reading Keeping up with the Kontinuity Errors where they say what date each scene was filmed and you can see how the narrative was constructed and scenes filmed later to provide the set-up for whatever storyline. I can’t stand the reality shows where people are fighting all the time.

Poll question: I gave up my opioids and most of my other pain meds. I miss them, lol.
