Random question: What are you up to this weekend? A whole lot of nothing! No house projects to really work on as we’re waiting for the inspection on Monday in order to move forward. Sunday there is a bbq at my ILs. Other than that, I’ll be doing lots of online window shopping for some things for finished space after the renovation!

Poll question: Mint chocolate chip! I also love chocalate moose tracks. Mmmmmm.

    Cycles TTC/Charting: 12 cycles TTC/ 16ish charting

    Age/SO’s Age: 32/ 31

POAS/AF Date: I expect AF Monday if I O’ed when I think I did, but I don’t plan on testing until the end of the week if AF doesn’t show.

BFP Plan and/or Known Issues:  We DTD every 36ish hours between cD10 and CD 13, then hit CD 14 and CD 17.

Link to chart: I can’t get the link from my phone, but I’m on FF with most of you already.

Random question: What are you up to this weekend? We are driving to my MIL’s, then spending the day there tomorrow, then going to my SIL’s church thing ( she’s getting concentrated as a Marion Caticist, whatever that is) On Sunday, then a four-ish hour drive back.

Poll question: chocolate fudge brownie all the way!  I love, love, love chocolate!

Random question:  I checked my chart today and noticed that FF took away my CH’s.  Has this happened to anyone else?  I haven’t been temping since it gave me CH’s, so there should be no reason to take them away.

    TTC/TTA: TTC #2!

CD/DPO: good question ๐Ÿ˜‚ CD 21, maybe 3 DPO, maybe Oing soon?

    Cycles TTC/Charting: 1/2

    Age/SO’s Age: 29/29

POAS/AF Date: I’ll POAS at 10 DPO, whenever that ends up being

BFP Plan and/or Known Issues: Prenatals, Preseed, OPKs

Random question: What are you up to this weekend? We are out of town…DH is a groomsman in a wedding tomorrow!

Poll question: We don’t eat dairy…DS was diagnosed with MSPI when he was 10 weeks old. Since I was BFing, that meant no dairy/soy for me either! Which as it turns out, I must have an intolerance too. Immediately lost 25 lbs and when I ate lasagna last week I almost had some GI emergencies. So. Yeah. Haha. But coconut ice cream is a GREAT substitute!

Sooooo I thought that I had O’d CD18 bc of my CM pattern and a temp spike. But I hadn’t gotten a pos OPK (I figured I’d missed my surge bc we were traveling and I sucked at testing) and my temps haven’t been very high…FF still gave me dotted CH tho. Today I took an OPK and it was *almost* positive! And I only have a tiny amount of EWCM? Wtf?! Any thoughts?! Of course, we are out of town this weekend for a wedding, staying at my ILs. Soooo I guess here’s to some sneaky BDing! Ha. Oh, and pretty sure DS has strep, so that’s awesome too. 103 degree temp…and we hung out with my sister last weekend–the day before she got diagnosed with strep. Poor kiddo!

    Link to chart:My Ovulation Chart

Random question: What are you up to this weekend? Just cleaning and watching CrossFit Games. But next weekend we get to head into the city for a concert and stay overnight so we’re excited for that!

Poll question: not gonna lie, I’m addicted to Haagen Daaz Chocolate Chocolate Chip. It’s rich but sooooooo yummy.

theshannondee:  OMG Tillamook. I only moved out of the PNW a year ago and Tillamook isn’t available where we live now. But boy oh boy do I miss their ice cream, and CHEESE!

auggiefrog:  just this cycle FF has adjusted mine 3 times, but it’s never taken the CH away completely.  Ugh. I hope you get them back soon!

    Roll Call!

    TTC/TTA: TTA for this cycle/month

CD/DPO: CD12 (this might be the first cycle I didn’t know it right away and had to look it up!)

Cycles TTC/Charting: 10 for each over almost 12 months.

    Age/SO’s Age: 26 and 30

POAS/AF Date: AF due sometime between 8/19 and 24

BFP Plan and/or Known Issues: TTA just for this month because of a missions trip to Haiti that required a lot of not-super pregnancy friendly vaccines.  I leave for that trip on August 4 – just a few days now!

As soon as we start TTC again, the plan is to do L-Carnitine, prenatals and metformin through the whole cycle.  Clomid on CD5-9 and EPO from CD1 until O confirmed. I’ll be back to charting and goal will be to BD EOD CD9-15 and then ED CD16-21.  DH has the order for a SA I’m going to ask him to do before we start TTC again just so we know where he is at too.

Issues: endometriosis, PCOS, only one ovary (lost the other one to endo complications).

Link to chart:  Not going to link it again until I’m charting again

Random question: What are you up to this weekend?  We have an alumni reunion that we’re hosting all day today and then an all day ministry event tomorrow.  At some point in there, hopefully my parents will come down to help do a tuneup on my car and our lawn mower.

Poll question:  I’m a sucker for fudge, brownie and cookie dough pieces in ice cream, but also really like anything fruity.  Can’t do anything with mint though since I’m allergic ๐Ÿ™

    Roll Call!

    CD/DPO: CD 11 – Not O’d yet

Cycles TTC/Charting: 1st Cycle charting, I want to get a better understanding of my body. Recently went off hormonal BC

    Age/SO’s Age: 28/28

POAS/AF Date: No idea of AF date, don’t know how messed up my cycles will be

BFP Plan and/or Known Issues: No BFP plan, but if I did get one, I know Fiance would be over the moon! Will be using condoms as a back up BC after our traditional marriage in 3 weeks.

I was getting cysts on my ovaries that would appear and disappear so now that i’m off the implant, the docs expect everything to go back to normal.

Random question: Not much today, but tomorrow I’ll be a very busy bee at Church as its Conference Sunday and there will be 5 services! It’s always a lot of fun serving, so looking forward to it, not so much the exhaustion I will feel on Monday lol

Poll question: Cookie dough! (and sometimes salted caramel)

TTC/TTA: TTA due to medical pause ๐Ÿ™

    CD/DPO: N/A

Cycles TTC/Charting: 17 actively TTC/15 Charting, plus just over 1 year of medical pause between DH and I (8ish for me, 4ish for him)

    Age/SO’s Age: Me- 33, DH- 39 (40 in a few days)

    POAS/AF Date: Septemberish?

    BFP Plan and/or Known Issues:

    Me: Severe endometriosis

DH: Virtual azoospermia/cryptozoopermia, i.e he makes 0 to single digit numbers of sperm

Since there’s a few newbies (welcome!) I’ll recap more fully than usual:

I knew I had endometriosis before we got married (I had a laproscopy and had mild Endo diagnosed/removed about 1.5 years before our wedding) so we began TTC right away afterwards (Summer 2013). We TTC’d for a year and each month off of BC my pain got worse. I suspected that my Endo had returned so I found an endometriosis specialist and had a laproscopy done. I found out that my Endo was so severe that it couldn’t be removed in one surgery. I had to take meds that put me into fake menopause for 7 months to shrink the remaining Endo/reduce surgical blood loss, and than I had another laproscopy to remove the rest of it at the end regimen. My doctor assured us we should have no issues getting pregnant but that the first 3-6 motnhs were our best chances.

After 5 months I went back to the doctor and he decided to start me on Femara and have my DH do a semen analysis. The Femara was a waste since we found out that my DH didn’t produce any or very little sperm (0 found during first analysis, 3 non-motile sperm found in the second). DH started seeing a urologist and I went back on BC to try and reduce the growth of my agressive Endo while we figured out DH’s issues.

We found out that though DH’s testosterone was technically normal, 300-100 ng/L is normal and DH was 305., it was very low for his age. He began taking meds to up his testosterone in April. The first med, Armidrex raised it to 370 after a month, so the urologist added in Clomid as well. we just got DH’s most recent bolld work back and his testosterone is up over 800! Hopefully this translates to sperm production, but the likelihood is about 50/50. It’s unlikely even in the best scenario that any sperm increase will be enough to conceive naturally, so we’ll likely be doing IVF this fall.

New news: DH had his next SA scheduled for Tuesday, we should know the results late next week (eek! so excited/nervous). His next urologist appointment is on the 5th. I made an appointment with an RE at the only clinic where my insurtance covers IVF, but I couldn’t get in until September 14th. I’ve heard from a co-worker that they require you to redo any tests done elsewhere, so DH is having his SA done at the clinic there, just in case, so he doesn’t need to redo it if we need IVF, which is likely. As long as DH’s meds have helped his SA, we can hopefully be TTC again in the next few months!

Link to chart: On pause due to our medical pause

Random question: What are you up to this weekend? Unfortunately, I’m working a bunch. I’m teaching a 2 week online class on college and study skills for the dual-enrolled kids in the district I teach and 3 others, so I’m very busy grading online journals and discusions, and of course answering a zillion emails from highschoolers who have never used the University’s online system, what fun!!

Poll question: Chocolate peanut butter- the kind made up of chocolate ice cream with huge ribbons of peanut butter- yum!
