MiJeS1104:  We haven’t scheduled it yet. We wanted to discuss a few things first, such as whether to freeze or not and timing with work etc.

rjay:  We’re okay. I’m bummed and DH is not loving the idea of having to do at least 1 biopsy (obviously), but honestly, I expected this result. We just haven’t had anything go our way in so long, I couldn’t see this going our way either. Sadly, in our 2+ years since beginning TTC I’ve also learned that if you expect the worst, it hurts less when it happens. Yes, it is good knowing we’re doing IVF with ICSI for sure. No more hoping for miracles:) It is what it is. I hope I do end up with some cycling buddies. My appointment with the RE at the clinic isn’t for another month, so at earliest we’d be starting our protocol is late September, so retrieval/transfer wouldn’t be until October at the earliest.

rjay:  Thanks ladies, just confirmed basically a missed CP if there is such a thing. HCG is down to 10 and my Dr. thinks I’ll start bleeding soon. Just really fucking sucks. I just sobbed on the floor while DD literally wiped my tears bc she doesn’t understand when other people cry really. She just saw water and wanted to touch it. This is my third miscarriage so he wants to do a slew of bloodwork to see if I have any kind of blood disorder/any other genetic issues. The one good thing is my OB is amazing. He is on vacation in Mexico and called me personally when he saw the results and wanted to make sure we are going to figure out what’s going on. I feel stupid for feeling so positive so early on. We literally just told all our siblings 2 days ago. I’m so mad at my body. I feel betrayed. Sorry for the vent/non replies to everyone else. I promise I’ll catch up with people individually soon. I miss you guys.

Aqualov:  Thanks! I’m trying to take it one day at a time, “today I’m pregnant” and I’m forcing myself to stop googling 2nd trimester miscarriage stories.

lalalalauren: I’m so sorry, I’ve in your shoes and I know how hard it is. I’m sending you tons of love and hugs. I’m so glad you have such a compassionate doctor and he’s going to order testing for you. If you have any questions about RPL testing I can look up all the tests I had.

Aqualov:  I responded to you on 1+, but I just wanted to say I can totally relate to what you said about expecting the worst and it hurting less when it happens. I keep finding myself in that situation – its hard to stay positive about things when you know results could be awful..its sort of become my coping mechanism as of late. I’m not proud of it, but it has kept me slightly level headed during appointments where my doctor wants to go over results (when i have already grieved over these). XOXO

rjay:  Girl, I agree. This thread has been a downer lately! Where is the good luck!!

MiJeS1104:  Ohhh bummer! I hate when that happens – my last cycle I was sure it was just spotting and not CD1 until like, later in the day. Its hard for me sometimes because my AF is SO light and short, some people might even consider it spotting. But when I went in for baseline, my lining was really thin. Ironically, after a fully medicated cycle (where my lining was supposed to thicken), it was even less than this yesterday on CD2 (3.2mm after one day of bleeding, ridiculous). Probably becacuse I spotted for FIVE days on progesterone. Womp womp. I’m concerned now that the spotting won’t change and this will be another hurdle during IUI or IVF.

Feist:  UGH, I’m sorry hon. Big hugs.

AFM – sorry I have been kind of quiet lately. I’m having a hard week processing everything! My AFC went from 4 last cycle to 5 yesterday, which still bummed me out. Waiting on estradiol levels – my RE is concerned that I also have premature ovarian failure given all of my low results. So I’m freaking out a bit about that. She also tested for thyroid antibodies and other autoimmune disorders that we hadn’t previously done. Today starts my 7.5mg dosage of femara for 5 days, and I go back next Saturday to see how my follies responded this go around. It’s going to be a long week of waiting to see if IUI is even a possibility.
