arielmerms:  Looks like you had great timing. I think FF is right and if she’s off maybe you O’d on CD11 instead. Either way you timed it right.

Mrs. Coyote:  Hmm I’m not really sure. I’m still pretty new to charting but I would say you haven’t O’d yet. There is always a first time for a late O date? GL and keep Bding!

ruby26:  Next time we try I will be waiting until well after my period is due. I understand!

arielmerms:  I don’t think your crosshairs look right. While CD 10 o is totally possible, your coverline is way too low. I actually think CD 12 is more likely – with a cover line of 97.7. Even if CD 7 was an outlier temp, your cover line should still be higher than 97.6. What happens when you change your setting to fam?

    View original reply
Mrs. Coyote:  It looks anovulatory to me – or even a late o. Has anything changed this cycle? Were you sick, or was AF longer than normal?

    Feist:  Great news!

Afm, just chugging along on CD 8 today. I finished femara yesterday and go back for monitoring on Saturday. Hoping to see a couple good follies and that we can proceed with IUI next week.

arielmerms:  For real! What happens if you add two more days of temps, will FAM give you crosshairs for CD 12? Like I said, it could be accurate but your cl just looks so low, and I like to follow tcoyf rules because they are easy for me to understand!

arielmerms:  Thanks, I guess I am just confused because I had my normal fertile CM CD 11-13, plus OPKs that were getting darker. I never had a truly + OPK though and then my CM changed to typical creamy/sticky post O CM. The last time we BD was Mon night, we’ll do it again tonight but tomorrow morning I am leaving to go to NY for 3 days.  I was feeling good knowing that I would O before my trip and now I am just annoyed!

arielmerms:  Our doctor told us it causes isolated motility issues, so

theshannondee: it doesnt seem like the issue for you from what you’ve said. I read on a fertility clinic site that under 30% motility can indicate a chemical issue with the semen so it’s not just about motile count. Really hoping it continues to improve. DH emailed him to ask if he would still recommend IUI as it stands now. If not, there’s no point in seeing the Seattle doc.

arielmerms:  I’m still really skeptical that so little smoke could cause the issue! Good thing is it is transient, no lasting effect.

ruby26:  Thanks for asking.  I’m hanging in there.  No real news though.  I don’t have a lot of symptoms and I don’t see a doctor for another week or two at the earliest.  So right now I’m in this weird pregnant hopefully limbo.  I’ll update you guys once I get some real information.

arielmerms:  I’d agree with FF on your CHs. That’s so early, I’m jealous! I’d still be waiting another 10-11 days to O!

Mrs. Coyote:  I sighed in frustration for you when I saw your chart this morning! I wouldn’t call it anovulatory, even if it is later than usual. I would say you just haven’t ovulated yet.

Mrs. Coyote:  Oh, that is just so confusing! I hope you get a temp rise soons o you know what’s going on!

Hi everybody! We are back and getting all re-settled, and I’m excited to be back on this thread! I’ve been following along and am just going to jump back in here instead of trying to catch up. So sorry that there wasn’t any awesome news for anybody while I was away!

How about some Iceland eye candy to make up for my lack of personals?!  We had an AMAZING trip! Horseback-riding, whale-watching, puffins, glacier hike, eating raw scallops and sea urchin right out of the ocean, black sand beaches, lots of camping and crazy weather… and now we are exhausted!!

And in TTC updates, we are back on the TTC horse (hooray!) and pretty sure I’m 1DPO. My temps have been a little nuts, I’m guessing because of traveling, but I’ve clearly got a shift and a positive OPK yesterday. Let me just say that BDing yesterday after flying home and then driving 4 hours to our upstate apartment was truly a heroic effort, LOL.

auggiefrog:  I agree with lalalalauren- you’re pregnant right now and that little bean in snyggled in tight. I don’t wish symptoms on you (maybe you’ll be lucky and since it was challenging getting and staying pregnant, you’ll be one of the lucky ones that has an easy pregnancy!), but I do hope that you feel some peace and Really be able to enjoy this pregnancy. Can’t wait for your update! I’m hoping for an adorable ultrasound picture!

Mrs. Coyote:  I’m so sorry for the confusing cycle! Were you stressed out last week? It looks like you geared up to O and then didn’t. But it also looks like you’re gearing up again, so hopefully your ovaries can pop an egg out this time! I’m sorry you had to join us long-cycle ladies this time around (I had long cycles pre-Clomid).

howsweetitis:  OMG. The puffins!!!!! Could they be any cuter??! Looks like such a scenic and gorgeous place to do some baby making! I hope you’ve brought back a souvenir!

NewfieBullet:  Thanks!! I’m in that weird place in the TWW where I’m simultaneously planning my pregnancy announcement to my family and also trying to keep my expectations low and tell myself I’m not pregnant. Such a roller coaster!

In renovation news, our kitchen cabinets are all installed and our appliances are back in the house from the garage (though not plugged in and functioning yet). We’ll install our floors tomorrow, and the counters are being put in on Wednesday morning, so I should have a new picture for you ladies after that! It’s all coming together! School starts in two weeks so I think we’ll make our deadline!
