You guys, I am absolutely dying about the idea of calling a little bean “Puffin.” I told DH and he loves it too, so we’re sold. Now I just have to get that sticky BFP!

ruby26:  Thanks! OMG, I died re: that place in the TWW. Hilarious!! I think we all know that place. I am keeping my FX so hard that this is your cycle!! Can’t wait to see new reno pics too.

Mrs. Coyote:  Thanks! I am so sorry about the crazy cycle. That is so frustrating. Hopefully you O right after you get back from your trip (and have time to BD again, obvs). Are you going to NYC?

lalalalauren:  Thanks, lady! How are you doing/feeling? I have been thinking about you. <3

Aqualov:  Haha DEF go to Iceland then–we literally saw thousands of them, and they said this was a low breeding year. They really were SO adorable.

FreckledFox:  I am so happy to hear that everything is normal for you, though I totally understand how that could almost be MORE frustrating & scary. Can’t wait for the meetup–would it be weird if I gave you a big hug? Lol!

arielmerms:  Ooh, yay for cycle buddies! When are you going to POAS? Re: prednisone, I have been off and on it for the last two months, and my doctor said not to worry about it with TTC. I think you are totally fine, I wouldn’t be concerned at all. Sorry about the arm though! That looks awful. I had a staph infection last year that caused cellulitis (among other things) and it was horrible!!

BeverlyGeese:  Thanks, lady! I have been stalking you over on the 1+ boards, haha. How are you doing/feeling about everything?

Turtle83:  Thanks! Yayyy, second trimester!! Not too much longer until you will be able to feel Daniel moving around!!

Feist:  Oh shit, I am so sorry about your camera! How upsetting! (And especially right before a scenic drive, UGH.) Have a wonderful, fun, safe trip though!!

auggiefrog:  Thanks, lady! I am so glad to hear that you are switching, I have all sorts of frown-y feelings about your OB. I totally understand your feelings & fears, and I am sending all of the sticky baby glue I’ve got that this little bean stays put. Can’t wait for an update!

Feist:  OH NO!!!! πŸ™ that’s awful about your (and DHs) camera equipment. I would be hysterical. That’s part of my livelihood! I do freelance. If anyone here gets area gets KU, come to nj and I’ll do your maternity/pregnancy or gender reveal/newborn pics for free! πŸ™‚

arielmerms:  Thanks.  I’m kind of excited, yet nervous too.  I’m more of an independant worker, so not having to consult with another teacher about everything will be nice.  The teacher I’m working with right now is a pretty big control freak, so I have been just letting her do her thing, but sometimes I feel more like support staff than a lead teacher in the room. I am keeping the same room, and she is leaving, and she is a bit of a pack rat, so I think it will be quite shocking when she leaves.  I have quite a few challenging personalities too, and I’m a bit nervous about having to deal with them all together in one room.

howsweetitis:  Love that you are going to call baby “puffin” FX for a BFP! And yep, I’m in NYC. I’m from NY (Albany, then Westchester) and flew back for my girlfriend’s bachelorette party.

Anyways I’m on my phone so sorry for multiple posts and typos haha. No O yet, so hopefully it will stay away til I’m back home. Although at this point I am so confused and I just want this cycle to be over so we can have a fresh start!

Mrs. Coyote:  Thanks, this is how I felt.  I was pretty put off that the OB wanted me to come in at 12 weeks, so everything was clear.  I would rather be seen at 8 weeks and know I have the support, but maybe not see everything, then be seen later and get to see a nice, clear picture of baby.  I hope I made the right choice!

auggiefrog:  Wow. Congratulations! That is so exciting and I hope the transition goes smoothly for you. I know sometimes the teacher to children ratio changes as they get older, so maybe you make that cut off? Either way, I’m happy you will have a distraction! And great news about the switch to your GP for now.

arielmerms:  Lol, I don’t play well with others, either…which is why I like being a nanny. For the majority of the day, my bosses are 2 and 4 years old and I dont have to answer to anyone!

howsweetitis:  Not too much to stalk as of late. I’ll update below, but for the first time in awhile I am feeling good about what is happening!

I responded well to the 7.5mg of femara and have 3 mature follies! Two on the right (18, 19mm) and one on the left that the nurse had some problems getting an accurate measurement for (between 14-17mm). I’m excited for the potential of iui, which will be Tuesday…but trying not to get my hopes up too much as we still have the possibility to be cancelled due to DHs low sperm count. Of course Monday would have been optimal timing, but another reminder that life doesn’t stop – dh has to be out of town for the day! We bd this morning just to be safe and also to allow for 3 days of abstinence. FX I don’t o before Tuesday! Nurse said there is a much higher risk of multiples now since I have 3 follies (goal was to release two, so more moving “targets” for the sperm)..which I am totally fine with because I like to think it just gives us a higher chance of getting one!

BeverlyGeese:  The ratios for 3 year olds in my state is 10:1, so either entrollment was bad that I am by myself, or they are going to eventually stick someone with me when more of the 2 year olds move up, or stick me with a floater teacher on days that enrollment is better.  Either way, it will be interesting.  So far I haven’t had to go to the bathroom too much more than normal, but I am nessled in between the school age classrooms, which will be empty during the school day.  So there may be some calls for a quick bathroom break from time to time.  How is your job situation going?  Are you working with a few different families now?  I can’t remember if you started with that second family or not.  FX for you that this IUI works out!

auggiefrog:  I’m so glad the new classroom is a distraction – hope it ends up being wonderful and not stressful! I seriously can’t imagine running around with a bunch of toddlers and no second person, OMG. I could barely do it when I camp counseled 7-8 year olds! Lol, I teach college students and that’s about the age I like to see whole groups of them.

Mrs. Coyote:  Oh fun! I remember that about NY now. Hope you guys are having a blast!!

arielmerms:  I am not sure either! I usually like to test at 10DPO, which would be the day after the meetup (I’m pretty sure FF is off by one day, as it currently has me Oing the day BEFORE my +OPK, lol.) But I don’t mind the BFNs at 10DPO, kind of eases you into it because there’s still the possibility that it could just be too early, haha. Also, literally snorted at the “doesn’t play well with others” thing. I am the same way for sure.

auggiefrog:  keep us posted on how it turns out! This is my last week of full time work! I decided to continue with my current family part time (m-f 1-6) because they know of our situation and time off for appointments or procedures. I picked up another babysitting job (tax free!) Three mornings a week, and I also was just approached by my former nanny family to manage their social media for their small business. Its great because I can do that during nap time, and still have a few mornings off to go to the Dr, run errands and do all of the things that take over our weekends. I’m so looking forward to it!
