bees_knees:  ear infection is no fun.  MY DD had a little cough and runny nose (only 2 mild fevers) for a week and I had like a dry hacking cough from her and then…I get an EAR INFECTION.  WTF.  I feel for those kids because it was super painful and developed/hurt really quickly.  I had to go get antibiotics that night last week.

arielmerms:  Yeah…i grew a habanero plant.  And now I’m wondering what the hell I’m going to do with all of these habaneros?!  The jam sounds good!

Also if anyone has something interesting to do with cayennes other than drying them and crushing…haha.

I should have just done all jalapenos as I use those all the time!

arielmerms:  I remember doing that every cycle! Adding extra symptoms! But I will say that the month we conceived I had the lowest amount of points!

Cassiopeia:  Welcome! My DH and I are similar ages as you and yours! (27/36). I like seeing couples with larger age gaps. Your temps are a bit odd. Today’s dip might be the normal post lutuem dip. Happens from 2-5dpo, or today could be a post O dip. :/

FreckledFox: Thanks for the welcome, and the insight! I like to think that DH and I meet somewhere in the middle maturity-wise LOL. Sound like I just need to wait it out and see what happens over the next few days. Keeping my fingers crossed that it’s the PL dip ๐Ÿ™‚

MattieK:  Hah, it does sound weird, but I totally get you.

Thanks for all the ladies wishing DH and I luck on Tuesday. I know I missed some of you; it wasn’t intentional but I just don’t have the energy to go back and figure it out.

arielmerms:  Thanks! Excited but still nervous. My EDD would be April 3rd based on LMP but based on O it should be April 7th. I know my OB goes by LMP no matter how sure you are of O so I guess it doesn’t really matter haha. FX we can be in the April mama’s group together!! And def did that last cycle with the symptom tracker. Agree with freckledfox out of all the times I’ve been pregnant (4) I never felt “real” symptoms before a BFP. Hope that is a good sign!!

kes18:  how cute is he!!! That pic made me think of the viral video of the little girl who pounded her chest lightly as a joke and the gorilla charged the glass window. Have you seen that?! It’s so frightening! But your gorillas look adorable and so sweet!

Cassiopeia:  agreed with ariel I think you will O today! Hope to see a temp spike for you tomorrow!

kes18:  Oooh strawberry habanero sounds good! I like the books Tart and Sweet (author is who I took a class from) and Canning for a New Generation. Tart and Sweet recipes that need added pectin (to make it gel) use Pomona’s pectin which is a powdered pectin, and the New Generation ones have you make a pectin liquid yourself from apples, which I’m generally too lazy for unless I’m doing something like a pepper jam which is clasically made with apples. Between the two I can always find what i need. I also sometimes use recipes online. The only thing with canning is it has to have a certain level of acidity so following trusted recipes is important until you get a feel for it. A good way to start out is if you have freezer room, you can make jam and freeze it instead of canning it, canning is really simple but you do need some special tools.

also, that gorilla is so cute! Reminds me of this video of an orangutan cooing over a baby human: https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=oppWVrPpkX8

Cassiopeia:  Welcome! I think the next couple days will clear up your chart. I think it’s either you are ovulating today or a normal dip that sometimes happens just after O.

arielmerms:  I totally do that and also I have the impulse to do things in the TWW to try to make my temp as high as possible like it will make a difference. Like, I will think twice about turning the A/C up if I’m hot at night.

Feist:  Oh, yeah I saw the orangutan one…that is so sweet!  Using the freezer sounds nice as I don’t think I’d have too much to freeze so I think I could make room.

lalalalauren:  I saw that video!  I have been to that zoo a lot.  I know the males are definitely the more agressive sex for gorillas lol.  At least this one was the mama gorilla so she just kept trying to get baby to nap!

FreckledFox:  that’s a good idea on the olive oil!  I like it…so easy.  I like easy.
