Duuuuuude. I’m so frustrated! I’ve been having small (I mean, once a day tiny bits) of EWCM, and my OPKs are still pretty dark. Not positive, but dark. And of course, I can’t rely on my temps since I didnt have my stupid thermometer, and the past two days my temps have been normal post o temps…but I took them later than normal. Now I’m worried my first OPK wasn’t actually positive. UGH. I can’t do anything about it anyways, since Darling Husband is gone, but I’m too much of a control freak to stop stressing! This is probably why they tell you to stop using OPKs after you get a positive…

BeverlyGeese:  I’m so sorry about the BFN πŸ™ but your temp spike today is encouraging!  FX it’s just a late implanter.  We’re all rooting so hard for you!

howsweetitis:  I’m so, so glad to see your update!  Stick baby puffin stick! FX for a great appointment on Friday!

Random side note, I googled baby puffins the other day, just to see what they were like. So cute!

future_mrs_s:  I know there are a few bees who have O’d super late (I think MrsFairyBee was like CD35?) and she’s due soon!  Late O doesn’t always mean a bad thing. But I know what you mean.  I didn’t O until CD29 one cycle and it’s frustrating.  I hope you O soon!

NewfieBullet:  Whew!  That’s a long flight!  I’m sorry about the rude passengers.  I’ve never minded having kids on the flight (usually their comments are super cute and keeps the flight entertaining), but I know a lot of people can be jerks about it.  Glad you guys are home and that you’ll be TTC again REALLY soon!!!

bees_knees:  Ugh, sorry about the lack of thermometer to confirm O. I hope the BD before your Darling Husband worked and you get a BFP!  And I’m loving all of the lab facts you’re adding into these discussions – super helpful!  I had no idea I could ask for a blood test without doctor’s orders!

lalalalauren:  Wow!  Nice BD stretch!  Dang. That’s impressive!

MiJeS1104:  Yay!  I don’t get too moody in general, but on Clomid it definitely felt like I was moodier. So glad the other side effects haven’t bothered you! FX for Saturday!

My temp dropped again today, so false alarm on the O for CD17, but I’m kicking myself now for not BD last night. I thought for sure it was past, but nope. πŸ™  O has been anywhere from CD18 to 29 in the past, so I guess we’ll just try to BD the next few days and hope for the best!

NewfieBullet:  Oh man, a pixie! I have rather curly hair, so I know how key it is to have a curly hair expert cut it! I would be afraid of a non-curly hair pro giving me a slightly clown-like cut, but I think with the right hair texture/cut, it’s so cute! Can’t wait to hear how you like it!

AFM, I was a crazy person today and took a HPT (yep, at CD 7) because I was SO emotional (cried when my friend got a dog, cried when I got out of the shower and realized I had to blow dry my hair before dinner (yeah..) cried when I found out Oliver Sacks died. I just thought maybe I was one of those people who thought they had AF, but it was just super implantation bleeding. BFN. Sometimes AF is just AF, and crazy has no good excuse. Oh well, still TTA now!

MattieK:  haha yes! My mom keeps all of her stuff she cans down there!

I am so so so mad at the universe. I just got a super-dark-absolutely-no-mistaking-it positive OPK. On CD23. So apparently the one I THOUGHT I had on CD19 was crap. Since Darling Husband left 4 days ago, I’m going to go ahead and count myself out. This means that, since AF’s return in March, he has been home during one fertile window. ONE. And he’ll be gone during my next cycle’s FW too, so that’s fun. Ugh I hate his job for so many reasons! Trying to tell myself that this is all in God’s plan…but I’m still mad.

MattieK:  Yes to joining the next meetup! I think its 9/12 so far. Place TBD. You have curly hair too?? I barely anyone IRL with curly hair aside from myself! And thank you. I do remember you had a place on the sept board for a little while. Between here and HB, we had a few sept mommas who never made it. I hope both of our next times around go smoothly. Also, sorry about all of the emotions! Stupid AF hormones  πŸ™

AFM, Nothing much here. I’m CD11? This first PP AF has been playing games. It goes away and then suddenly i get a small gush of heavy spotting (mostly when im walking or moving a lot so I understand why).. but that never happened to me before. It’s frustrating. We went hiking and AF had been gone for 2 days and then poof came back! Longest AF spotting everrrrrrr…. but it stands to reason being my first PP cycle. Sigh. I just want to move on. Darling Husband and I planted some flowers on Grady’s grave. I asked him for strength to get through this month. Ugh!

bees_knees:  Ugh I’m sorry to read this update!! So so annoying and frustrating!!! OPKs can be wrong can’t they? I hope you O’d earlier and your OPK was a fluke!! That’s hard with your Darling Husband out of town. Hugs to you!

MattieK:  UM this is me. Crying over EVERYTHING. If I took a HPT everytime I got overly emotional it would be everyday. I cried last night looking at pics of my SIL’s BFF and her boyfriend and his 2 kids. It’s a really sad story but the boyfriend divorced his wife (mom of his kids) bc she is a serious alcoholic and he has paid for her to go through rehab twice. She couldn’t take care of the kids and drank throughout her whole pregnancy with the second child. Anyway so my SIL’s BFF is dating the dad, he is SO nice and she has had bad luck with guys. I saw pics of them all together over the weekend and cried bc his kids just look so happy with her and are looking at her in the sweetest way, it’s obvious they already love her and think of her as a mom. Which just made me so happy I cried. Stupid right? LOL

FreckledFox:  Haha thanks. We abstain the whole first trimester when I’m KU, so I hope Darling Husband got his fill for a while! I’m glad you guys planted some flowers for Grady that is so special. Sorry AF is sucking a big one! FWIW after one of my CP’s AF was the same for me. Acted as if she was totally gone then a couple days later returned lightly for a few days. So annoying. Prayers for you to come out of Sept. with strength and healing.

FreckledFox:  After my first MMC I didn’t want to risk anything, we chose to abstain on our own. My doctor said he doesn’t think it’s necessary but I just wanted to be totally cautious. He said he understood. We will be just as cautious for my next BFP as well. The whole pregnancy would be really hard, but if the end result was a heathy baby I would do anything I could to help make that happen.

NewfieBullet: Yay for last cycle TTA! Sorry you had to deal with rude people on the plane. The worst is when it’s people who are also parents giving dirty looks. Like dude… you had to deal with this too! P.S. Happy birthday

bees_knees:  Ugh, I’m sorry you’re going through this! But like the others, hopefully this means you can get more BDing in when Darling Husband is home! How long is he gone for?

hogoboom2012:  That baby puffin is sooo cute! I’m sorry! I feel like I’m going through the same thing. I thought for sure I had O’d based on my CM and my Temp spike, but the last 2 days have been low again so I’m thinking this cycle is either an-O or delayed.

MattieK:  hahaha I had to laugh at your post about being emotional. Last night I watched a 3 and a half hour movie and cried almost the whole time. I’ve noticed I’m way more emotional these days since I’ve gone off the BCP! Darn hormones.

FreckledFox:  Sorry about stupid AF, that would be super frustrating. Sounds like you and Darling Husband had a nice visit with Grady, & I’m sure he’s sending so much love and positive vibes to you guys.

NewfieBullet:  People just suck, lol. You would think they’d have the decency to remember that (gasp, horror) they were babies and toddlers once too, and parents on planes are usually doing everything they can… nevermind that acting visibly irritated about something no one can change is not exactly the most adult way to behave! Sorry you had to put up with that, but I’m glad you’re almost done TTA!
