JLBB-brooklyn:  I agree!  Waiting for O just seems to drag on and it feels like a constant guessing game.  Irregular cycles make every temp dip makes me wonder if this is finally it.  I really appreciate that during the TWW, I’m not nearly as stressed about getting the right BD timing, making sure I’ve slept for at least 3 hours before temping, etc. I can relax more during it.

Just a quick update, nothing exciting. 8dpo here and going to Disney World today which is great for me because the due date of my first loss is in a couple days. The distraction is welcome although I’d much rather have a newborn in my arms.

@ruby26: Start the next thread!  FX you get thread starter’s luck!

@leahdany: enjoy Disney!  I hope it is a great distraction and you are able to really enjoy yourself.  Sending hugs and mouse ears!

AFM, I apologize for being such a debbie downer, but here’s another womp womp update.  CD1 today, which blows, as you all know.  Kitty got admitted to an animal hospital for 3-5 days last night (yes, that noise you hear is all of my money flying away)… she has diabetic ketoacidosis and she’s hospitalized to get her levels regulated to a point where I can then take over and give her insulin injections twice daily.  She’s 10 years old and I hope I’m doing the right thing and that her quality of life is better after this.

Wow these boards move fast! So I just wanted to throw this out there since I feel like I’m in limbo. It’s AFs due date and I’m just twiddling my fingers and waiting for her to arrive. There’s no sign yet but that can change quickly since I only get maybe an hour of cramps before. I’m either 12/13 DPO since I “think” I o-ed on the 3rd or 4th, but I only have CM to go off of. I don’t feel different so I’m really not expecting much. Plus the last few days at work were rough so maybe that’s thrown my body for a loop. I don’t mean to sound super glum but the last cycle I thought it was it and really felt pregnant, so the BFN followed by AF the day after really hit me. I’m almost scared to test and just want to wait to see if AF comes. At the same time though a part of my curiosity wants to be satisfied.

arielmerms:  Aww, I’m so sorry to hear about your kitty being admitted. I always had a rough time leaving them behind. But I think you’re doing the right thing and I’m sure it will really improve the quality of her life. It just sucks it has to come with the expensive price tag. Wow AND AF arrived, when it rains it pours. Sorry to hear she had to stick her ugly head in this already crappy day.

leahdany:  I’m so very sorry hun. ๐Ÿ™ Hopefully the much needed distraction will help you to manage these next few days as best as you can. Sending lots of hugs and well wishes.

arielmerms:  ugh that is so rough, sorry ๐Ÿ˜”. As for kitty, i have a friend who needs to give her cat insulin shots and she is happy and healthy as can be. I hope that’s the case with your lovely fur ball!

MiaBella03:  I know what you mean about not wanting to POAS. As for your cycle days, it’s hard to tell since you can have more than one fertile patch in a cycle. Were you using opks as well? If not, temp is really the best indicator. What cycle day are you on? Do you know when you typically o? GL! I hope AF stays away and you get your BFP.

MrsMellyBean:  Thank you! We’ve been doing a whole lot of nothing in terms of charting… I only can go off my CM and my app. I’m on CD 29 currently. I have only been off BCP for 3 months so I don’t have much to go off of. Based on that all cycles have been 28 days, O pains and fertile CM in the past have been around CD 15-18. This cycle I had pelvic pains on Oct 4th so CD 17… Is that considered a late O? I guess I could be having a longer luteal phase if it is a late O.  If AF arrives I told Darling Husband next cycle I’m doing something to get a better understanding of what’s going on, if anything at all.

MiaBella03:  that’s so nice that your cycles have been so consistent! It is possible to O later than normal but I wouldn’t consider CD17 late by any means. Your luteal phase typically doesn’t vary a whole lot but the follicular phase be longer or shorter from cycle to cycle . Not sure if this helps!

MrsMellyBean:  Very helpful, thank you! Esp since I know very little ๐Ÿ™‚ Hopefully they stay consistent. Last time I went off BCP they were all over the place, so I’ve been shocked the last few have been on time.
