FreckledFox: As long as you say it on an anonymous forum and not to her face it’s not mean:) We do what we have to to stay sane- which in turn keeps us from syaing stuff like that out loud lol!

arielmerms: glad you could open up to your friend about your ttc journey, that’s always helpful! I’m off until the 4th so it’s been a nice long break! Are you off this week?
MrsAKSkier: wow I agree, 10 days of anyone visiting is a lot! Hope it all goes well and that you have some time to relax once they’re all gone! Your story about your friend is hilariou! Who would get worked up over the number of ice cubes. Seriously?!
Feist: glad you could work the timing out- fx that this is your cycle. Everything is looking too good with your follies and lining not to! Where in Canada do you have to go to?
MattieK: lucky girl, spending a night out on the town with mr. Gosling! P.S. Did you actually make tonic? How do you do that?!
FreckledFox: hope your blood tests came back ok! A clotting disorder sounds scary. That’s awesome that you and your DH are going on a trip- that sounds so nice. I would love to get out to Newfoundland!
hogoboom2012: thanks! You are so sweet and helpful! I hope you guys were able to get the car parts on time and were able to get some BDing in. Good luck!!

kes18: yay for booking your Vegas trip! TTC is going to come up so quickly for you!!
FreckledFox: hahaha the nose comment was too funny! venting is always helpful! I know you’ll get your BFP soon and your little one will have a much better nose. Plus you’ll have your sweet DH to help out with everything.
sorry for the multiple posts, I’m replying on my phone. Not much new to report for me, just cleaning up and getting the house ready as we have 3 couples coming in from out of town to celebrate New Years. No ovacue yet, they shipped it from Washington so I thought it would get here quick as we are on the west coast, not too far north from there but they send it down to a facility in San Francisco! Argh! I know it probably has to do with main shipping hubs for usps but it just seems silly to me! Oh well, it’ll get here when it gets here!
ETA: I called the doctor to get my test results and they aren’t able to see me until next Wednesday π‘. I put my name on the cancellation list. If I have a 14 day LP then itll be cd2 when I go and ask for the requisition for cd3 testing. If af comes sooner I’ll ask if I can see someone just to get the lab req in time. Super frustrating as this office is never that busy!

MrsMellyBean: Super frustrating about the test results! I think doctor’s offices tend to be extra busy over school breaks. Hopefully you will have a nice long LP! you can do CD3 testing CD2-CD4, so there is some wiggle room.
FreckledFox: The nose thing made me lol. That’s just the kind of feeling that you need to vent to internet strangers who know neither of you in real life.
MrsMellyBean: We are in Vancouver. His test is downtown right by where the city’s New Years celebration is. We paid $35 more at our hotel to have a harbour view and then put in the reservation notes a request for a high floor saying we were hoping to watch the fireworks because I can’t go out due to a medical condition. (I can’t stand long due to chronic pain.) They gave us an amazing corner room with a panaramic window on the 22nd floor! We will definitely see the fireworks from here! So we’ll walk down to the celebration for the food trucks, then head back to the room when I am done and watch the fireworks from our bed π
You guys, I was quizzing my husband on our way up as he drove, and DAMN that boy is smart. I already knew that but wow I was impressed. <3

Feist: ya with kids off school and a bunch of people off work, I’m sure the doctors are busy! I should’ve planned better. Vancouver is a great city- I love it there! DH and I went last February for a concert and mini vacation and it was great. It was a nice break from the cold too. Your trip sounds amazing so far- I hope you guys enjoy yourselves! Good luck to your hubby, I’m sure he will do great!

Aqualov: Oh god, I would never say anything mean to anyone to their face (on purpose heh). People IRL tell me I’m too nice. I don’t think I’ve ever raised my voice at anyone except my ex-BF when i was breaking up with him. Ha!
MrsMellyBean: Fortunately my blood tests all came back okay. I was tested for EVERYTHING under the son (more MC related then fertility related), and it’s all normal. So great for my health, but no answers. And thank you, I hope our future kids get my DHs nose. I couldnt tell on Grady since he was so tiny, but i don’t like my nose very much (think big italian schnoz, haha, so I really shouldn’t be talking about other people noses π )… I hope that the Ovacue comes soon!!! and that they can fit you in earlier for the results. Thats cutting it close, BUT possible. π
Feist: Haha I’m glad I made so many people LOL. Honestly though, when I hear about a newly pregnant girl, when i get friends like you guys that say, “I hope she pukes all 9 months, and she has a huge butt”, it does instantly cheer me up. π Sometimes the sweet, “it’ll happen soon” is nice, but a mix is best π And yay for smart husbands! I’m pretty proud of mine too! Good luck to your DH on the tests!!

Hi, ladies! I’m tentatively dipping my toes in the TTC waters here, gearing up to start actively TTC next cycle. I was a charter back in 2012/2013 while TTC my son, who will be 2 in January (what!?!).
I’m already seeing some familiar faces (some garner excitement, some sorrow over the fact they are still waiting) and some friends (
FreckledFox:
). I’m excited to get started, but have to get a dental appointment, pap smear, and an antibiotic run finished up first in preparation to TTC – all hopefully taken care of within the next couple of weeks. I’ll wait until next thread to roll-call, but will leave my chart link here if anyone wants to add a fellow chart-stalker!

I’ve just been tracking with fertile signs up until now, preventing, avoiding, and using pull-out method. I’ll resume temping next cycle.
Happy New Year, ladies! I hope the new year brings new starts and new life! XOXOX

I splurged on room service breakfast for us so my husband could have a good meal before the big test. His was over salted so he had it replaced. They replaced it really fast so he was still able to eat, and then they just called to let me know they were comping the whole thing! Totally unnecessary but I’m VERY happy to save that $60. π
