    Roll Call!

    TTC/TTA: TTC

    CD/DPO: CD34, no O yet

Cycles TTC/Charting: First cycle TTC baby #2. Charting since May or June 2012.

    Age/SO’s Age: 33/31

    POAS/AF Date: To be determined

BFP Plan and/or Known Issues: Mild PCOS. Right now just BD in window, use OPKs.

    Link to chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/MrsPuddingface

Random question: The best restaurant I’ve ever been to has to be the one in our wedding venue. The food from our rehearsal dinner and our wedding was phenomenal. Close 2nd would be The Black Forest just outside Fairmont Hot Springs where they serve German faire. YUM!

Poll question: I’ve been charting since coming off BCP in May or June of 2012 where we started NTNP before our September wedding. Once September hit we started TTC full-force. I continued to chart after I had my son as a method of avoiding pregnancy, which was 100% effective for 2 years. I wanted to get some kind of control over the TTC process, which meant a crash-course education about my body and how everything works.

    TTC/TTA: TTC

    CD/DPO: CD25/no O yet

Cycles TTC/Charting: First cycle charting and TTC

    Age/SO’s Age: 27/28

    POAS/AF Date: Hopefully around 3/3

BFP Plan and/or Known Issues: Trying to figure out my cycles afte 15 years on BCP.  If my signs are correct, I should O early this week.  If no BFP this month, will start using OPKs.

    Link to chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/6196c3

Random question: Whats the best restaurant you’ve ever gone to, and/or one thing off the menu we HAVE to try? Goodness this is a hard question, as I love all things food! I would say my favorite local restaurant is Monjuinis.  Everything on the menu is fantastic, but I’d say you try the bread and sauce they bring out for free, their spaghetti and meatball, and the shrimp aurora!

Poll question: I know some of us started charting long before TTC, What got you into charting? I just got off BCP after 15 years, so besides TTC, I wanted to figure out my body and my cycles.

LarLa:  It’s kind of unfair that income can bar someone from having kids isn’t it? ๐Ÿ™ Doen’t Quebec have free IVF? Crazy. It’s good you know people here if you ever have to go that route.

hogoboom2012:  thanks lady. Ugh sorry about pesky AF AND the fact that you’ll miss your FW next cycle as well. That is exciting that you’ll be moving forward with the hybrid IUI soon though. Maybe you’ll have a New Year’s babe !!!

happy2bee:  That Valentine’s Day sounds lovely- persian food is delish! Also, sorry about the timing of the car crapping out but that’s exciting that you’ll be getting a new car! Prius’ are pretty neat, I would love a hybrid but they are expensive! Hope you and DH get some great timing this cycle!

kes18:  oh man, your post made me so hungry- and I just ate! haha! I love all of those things! Sorry you have to work today, we get the day off for Family Day- it’s nice to have a long weekend!

natbrown0703: Hope you get some great timing! We usually aim for ED in the FW but usually don’t succeed. I wouldn’t worry about potency unless DH has low volume or low sperm count as is. I usually get a temperature dip before O so nothing to worry about ๐Ÿ™‚

MrsPuddingface:  oh that hot tub sounds so nice! And what you described as your experience of being a Stay-At-Home Mom totally sounds like what my situation would be like, so you’re not crazy. Or if you are, then I am too haha!

    Roll Call!

    TTC/TTA: TTC for babe #1

    CD/DPO: CD45/7dpo

Cycles TTC/Charting: This is our 4th cycle for both (6 months)

    Age/SO’s Age: 28/28

POAS/AF Date: Trying to hold out until 10 dpo/AF should be here between the 20th and 21st

BFP Plan and/or Known Issues: BD ED in FW, charting, OPKs, ovacue, CoQ10, prenatals, 1000 mg Metformin daily,  & preseed. Borderline PCOS which we are trying to treat with Metformin for 3 months, if I’m still not pregnant we will add Clomid in the mix.

    Link to chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/mrsmellybean

Random question: Whats the best restaurant you’ve ever gone to, and/or one thing off the menu we HAVE to try? Ooh that’s hard. I love anywhere with a good prime rib (Alberta beef is our thing!), or Indian (classic must have is butter chicken, vegetable pakora for an appie, any kind of paneer if you are vegetarian).

Poll question: I know some of us started charting long before TTC, What got you into charting? I started charting as soon as we were TTC because I wanted to be pregnant yesterday so any way that could help us get pregnant right away, I was willing to try. I also had been on the pill since I was 17 so I wanted to learn more about my body!

    TTC/TTA: TTC

    CD/DPO: CD9

Cycles TTC/Charting: TTC #1 for a year now

    Age/SO’s Age: 38/44

POAS/AF Date: AF should be sometime in early March

BFP Plan and/or Known Issues: Still figuring out my issue. I’ve always been pretty regular but everything went haywire when I got married in Nov 2014. Didn’t have a normal period for about a year. First it was a few months of 2 week and light AF. Then I started having huge clots during those 2 weeks of AF. Then 3 months with nothing. Then 8 weeks of nonstop AF that was finally stopped with meds. The meds worked and things have been back to normal for the past 2/3 months or so. Pap, internal exam, ultrasound, and blood work have so far all been fine. Waiting for the latest round of bloodwork (timed CD3 although I had it on CD4 thanks to a snowstorm). Getting the results next Monday. So far I do know my fsh level are not the best (fsh 11) which I guess isn’t totally unexpected with my age. Plan is to try what is available to us here until I’m 40 at least.

Random question: Whats the best restaurant you’ve ever gone to, and/or one thing off the menu we HAVE to try? hmmm tough question! We have a ton of great restaurants in my home province right now. I’d have to pick Mallard Cottage as the best I’ve been to lately. They change their menu all the time so can’t really pick a dish. Its all good!!

Poll question: I know some of us started charting long before TTC, What got you into charting? I started keeping track of AF when I started seeing my husband. Mostly to not get pregnant which is funny now lol.

    Roll Call!

    TTC/TTA: TTC

    CD/DPO: CD10

Cycles TTC/Charting: 2nd but first entire cycle post BC last month was my first month off BC

    Age/SO’s Age: 31/31

    POAS/AF Date: To be determined

BFP Plan and/or Known Issues: OPks and Charting (obviously)

    Link to chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/61af9a

Random question: Hmm best restaurant I’ve ever been to.  I don’t know.  My husband and I LOVE local restuarants but I guess my favorite has to be a restaurant called the Electric Cheetah.  They have the best gormet grilled cheese sandwich.  It has several different kinds of cheeses with tomatoes and onions.  It also comes with the freshest french fries I’ve ever had.  SO GOOD!

Poll question: I actually only started chartting while TTC.  I knew about it because my mom did that when she was trying to get pregnant with me.  I guess I’ve figured I would do it to gather information about myself that way if we do have problems TTC I have plenty of data to give my doctor.  I’m a super type A planner personality so I feel better organized this way.

MrsPuddingface:  Are you taking anything to help manage the PCOS? Also, the black forest on the way to Fairmont is so cute! I’ve only ever stopped there for gas/booze on our way to a friend’s cabin in Invermere but maybe I’ll need to stop for lunch next time we are out that way.

LarLa:  isn’t it frustrating that we try so hard for so long to not get pregnant and then when we actually want to be, it’s so hard to get there?!

Sorry about the multiple posts ladies, I feel a little scatterbrained today haha. We didn’t really do anything special for V day- just painted our bedroom which we’ve been putting off forever, and then went for dinner at my sister’s house with my mom, her bf, and my grandma that’s been visiting from Victoria. It was nice actually. Today I’m off so my goal is to do a deep clean of the house . This TWW has been hell for me. It’s been a struggle every day not to test and I keep symptom spotting and googling the shit out of everything. I’ve been super tired and eating every thing in sight, it’s ridiculous. I’m not sure if it’s from the increased dose of metformin or what. Also, as my POAS date gets closer I’m starting to feel more and more pessimistic since I know despite our great BD timing, we only have a 20% chance of getting a BFP. I think it’s my way of preparing myself for a BFN and softening the blow, even though it won’t. ๐Ÿ™ Sorry for being such a downer today!

MrsMellyBean:  I know! If you don’t laugh at it then you’ll cry. The number of times I was all upset and worried because I thought I was pregnant before I was “ready” is crazy.

MrsMellyBean:  oooohhh good to know! Thanks!! Just changed it!! I didn’t realize you could follow people on FF either! Is that only with the VIP version? I tried to add
    View original reply
happy2bee: but couldn’t figure out how! I’m in the free trial month of the VIP version, but I don’t plan on paying for it just yet! Man, multiple people painted rooms on Vday!! Why only a 20% chance of getting a BFP? I know it’s hard so hard to not stress and stay positive about it all. I do the same thing, prepare myself for the worst so I “wont be so upset” when it happens. I’m going to stay positive for you that you get your BFP this month!!! How much longer till you POAS?

FreckledFox:  I stalked you over on TTC after miscarriage bcause I wanted to hear the story about your sister. And, seriously, what gives? I don’t understand lying about trying next year only to announce right after. WTF. I’m so sorry, it totally sucks feeling blindsided like that! Here’s to thread starters luck for you!
