MrsMellyBean:  I never felt my cervix dilating, I was induced (starting at a fingertip diltaed) so when I started pitocin they started out like menstrual cramps and continued to feel that way just worse than you’d ever think possible. So I felt it, but just as contractions!  I had lightning crotch start around 24-25weeks so I know that the sensation doesn’t necessarily mean anythig is dilating because I certainly was not dilated at all at that point. So I assumed it was just baby hitting the cervix and that nerve sending shooting pains.  But I had it once or twice since I’ve not been pregnant- but I wrote it off since it wasn’t a regular occurance.  Not sure what causes it!!

And yes, we are going next Wednesday night!!

JMer711:  Your story about Skipper made me cry. What a beautiful way you guys met. I’m so sorry for his loss, but I love that Cannoli was given a wonderful family in memory of him. He has the sweetest face! I LOVE bully breed dogs….those big eyes just slay me! Do you find he gets sunburnt easily (or at all)? My husband wants to adopt a white boxer but aside from the regular purebred issues and the fact that lots of white boxers are deaf, I wonder if they’re particularly sensitive to t he sun and skin issues. Kevin’s issues are brutal, I can’t imagine having to deal with even more. He’s allergic to pretty much everything, but he’s actually gone into anaphylactic shock a few times from mosquito/bug bites. Is it weird that I thought your cake looked tasty? LOL

kes18:  I finally got a temp this morning that’s in line with my usual post-O temps so that’s really nice to see. I’m not one of the women who obsesses over everything in the TWW, I obsess over everything ovulation-related, unfortunately πŸ˜‰ I’m excited to see you’re almost at the end of your TTA period…..FX for your first TTC cycle!!!!

happy2bee:  I added you to my friends πŸ™‚ Ugh….I’m sorry about your temp this morning. You still have a chance for it to rebound, so don’t give up all hope yet. I actually remember seeing a couple of charters who had dramatic temp dives like that give up and stop testing, waiting for AF, then they were late and ended up with BFPs. See what your temp does tomorrow, since today is still early. If you have another temp below 98.1 then I’d probably gear up for AF, but if you don’t then I think you’re still in with a chance.

CatyLady:  It looks like you’re gearing up to O. Have you been doing OPKs?

MrsR4ever:  I remember her passing I think…did she break her back or injure herself jumping up onto the couch or something? So heartbreaking. I love that N loves Daisy so much though. It fills the heart with so much joy to see how these boys love their furry best friends

waterlilly15:  Not positive but getting darker! Keep testing today! FX!!

MrsMellyBean:  LOL at that pic! That’s totally been my face every morning when I’ve seen my temps, other than this morning’s! We’re about 5.5-6hours from Edmonton, depending on weather etc.  And, yes, she’s nuttier than squirrel shit. Zepplin! I LOVE spaniels!

Ohhavok:  Sorry about the BFN πŸ™ It’s definitely way early at 9DPO though. I’d try again on Sunday morning at 11DPO. Did you roll-call? I don’t have your chart added to my FF Friends list for some reason! Your chart is looking pretty nice at least!

MissCorgi22:  Fostering a love of animals in our children is one of the most important things we can do for our kids. I love your plans for Zoe’s birthday! That’s so sweet! She’s a lucky, lucky girl!

FreckledFox:  Does it hurt to sit down when you get that? I get that during O time – I’m sure it’s the cervix opening and closing, which would go hand-in-hand with AF too!

MrsPuddingface:  Omg that reaction to mosquitoes is horrible! Thank goodness Cannoli isn’t allergic or else we’d be in trouble because we have terrible mosquitoes at our house. His only issue is a minor allergy to grass — he gets hives on his belly temporarily when he’s rolling around in it. As for sun, he does get a little pink but I personally think it’s more from being hot because it doesn’t last for too long. I don’t think he really gets sunburnt, but I have heard of white dogs having an issue with that. Probably depends on their fur — Cannoli’s is short but pretty coarse/thick so I think that helps protect his skin a good bit.

Im having almost like period pain feeling but its starting to localise on the lower right side, after reading everything that seems to be the description and the timing i think would be about right also. FX its finally happening.

PS im still trying to catch up on everyones back story in this thread so i can join in i feel like a bit of a leech always asking not contributing much!

MrsPuddingface: Hey, I think I did on Thursday (CD27). I did consider doing OPKs but we can’t BD anyway at the moment as the Mr is still recovering, plus one of his stitches burst last week, so he’s got to take it easy. I’m going to start tempimg again from next cycle.

MrsMellyBean:  I’m doing good thanks!! I miss you ladies more than you know!! I want to see everyone on the pregnancy boards soon! And just to throw this out there on your contraction convo, when I went into labor with DD I never felt the classic “tightening and releasing” of your stomach. My contractions were the worst period cramps of my life! My sister was the same. So who knows. I also walked around 4cm dilated for over a week not even knowing it! Lol bodies are ao crazy!!
