waterlilly15:  I can always tell they are O pains because they happen after I get a +.  If I didn’t have a + I would maybe note it but assume they are not.  I usually get O pains the night I get a + or the next morning.  I would also agree that FF could be wrong.  After you O there should normally be more of a distinction between pre and post-O temps but then again it might be affected by your different times.  You also usually ovulate the last day you have fertile cervical fluid, so if you are still having some that would make me think you haven’t O’d yet.  With an erratic sleeping schedule getting a + OPK might help you the most because you can watch out for O after that. You were testing multiple times a day?

hogoboom2012:  glad you had such a great trip!

AFM today is 12 DPO which means the B6 already helped since I’m at an 11 day LP so far (last month was 9, normally 10).  Or maybe the less nursing from DD has also helped it out.  I am expecting AF today just because I’ve never had an LP longer than 11 days before.  Sort of hope it shows up soon so that it I won’t have it during my whole trip.  I also noticed I have a nice “implantation dip” at 9 DPO on my chart but there is no way I am pregnant

kes18:  I forgot you mentioned you were still TTA…oops! I am glad B6 has helped this cycle. FX it does the same next cycle.

AFM; not much to report.  I believe I am about 5dpo.  I hurt my neck and shoulder while getting dressed…ouch! Now, I cant turn my head to the right.  Happy Monday, everyone!

waterlilly15:  I have trouble getting a fully positive OPK too.  I have to test about 3 times a day and try not to drink as much as normal.  Even then, I’ve never seen a second line as dark as the first.

MissCorgi22:  Dh is the same way with thinking homecooked is healthy!! But I’ve been getting him to eat grilled chicken everynight without complaining!! He doesn’t even eat the sides, just the chicken…werido! I have actually been in pyhsical therapy for going on three months now for my neck. I was finally feelin about 90% normal most of the time, so I decided to start working out again.  Did dumbell flys with weights and my neck hurt sooooo bad the next day.  Guess I’ll have ot stick to body weight exercises…We did end up going to brunch with bottomless mimosas instead of the parade! And I still wore my green tutu and fuzzy green leg warmers! hah. Happy birthday to Zoe!! My Zoe’s birthday is actually this week, on St. Patrick’s day! She will be 7!

JMer711:  Totally with yall on spoiling and loving the dog! I always say tht I have 4 children–2 dogs and 2 cats! I can’t imagine when we have a human that I could ever love my pets any less or spoil them any less.  They are our first borns!! My childhood dog was a collie, whom I named Lassie (so original!).  She lived to be 13, and I still cry thinking about the day we put her down.  I was in college, and it was one of the hardest days/weeks/months ever.  These are my 2 beagles on Zoe’s birthday last year (because of course, they both get to partake in the celebrations!) Zoe is on the left and Copper is on the right. Both of my babies have cost us alot in vet bills, but they’re so worth it! Copper has seizures and has to take medicine twice a day for them.  A year ago next week, Zoe’s back legs quit working and she was in the puppy hospital for over a week =( JMer your baby is too cute!!!

MrsR4ever:  haha yes, I was TTA last cycle since I am going to Vegas on Wednesday.  But since that cycle is out of the way I guess I am not TTA any more!  My DH is sort of frustrating- he won’t actually say he wants to “try” for another just that he doesn’t care if it happens.  But I am a planner so I like to actually plan these things!  I can’t actually get him to say “Yes, let’s try!”

    View original reply
MissCorgi22:  Yes, I am not TTA now I guess.  I am totally nervous though!  I really want another but I am kind of scared to upset the nice balance I have now.  I sort of wonder if I will NTNP this cycle to get my toes wet.

hogoboom2012:  yeyy! Glad yall made it back safe!! It sounds like yall had an amazing and successful trip!! That is a very long driving trip, I’d be going stir crazy!! FX AF stays away!!

AFM, we had a crazy busy weeked, which is why I’m so behind! Thursday, the state shut down my office a 1:00 and all day Friday due to rain and flooding concerns.  Almost all schools shut down Friday as well.  Rain has been over since Saturday night, but the rivers and bayous are still rising, so there is a TON of flooding and road closures.  Many schools closed again today.  My house is safe for now, but the street behind us is closed and flood less than a quarter of a mile from my house.  The bayou hasn’t crested yet, so I’m still pretty anxious about us flooding.  DH says we are going to be fine, but I cant help but worry!! Since nobody had work Friday, a bunch of us went out to eat and ended up going out afterwards–I felt like I was in college again, staying at a bar till closing, especially on a Thursday! Then we drank again heavliy on Saturday for St. Patty’s Day, so my whole temping and taking medicine was screwed up this weeked.  I’m so ready to get back on track here!! I’m on CD14, so I guess I will start doing OPKs soon.  I’m hoping my cycle will be alot shorter than the last one, since that was my first one off BCP.  If not, I’ll be doing OPKs for weeks until i get a +!

waterlilly15:  If I haven’t O’d yet in a cycle then I’ll record it as O pains unless it’s super early in my cycle, if I already have then I call them cramps. Not very scientific haha. FF may change your O date so I would keep temping and taking OPKs at this point. Good luck! I know the first few cycles can be super confusing. I’m on my 5th and I still don’t know what’s going on half the time!

natbrown0703:  oh my goodness! Your beagles are too cute. Glad you were able to be festive despite the sucky weather. Hope Zoe has a fantastic birthday on Thursday. That’s when we celebrate our cat Oliver’s birthday as well as that’s when he was adopted <3  Hope that the flooding stays away from your house. The city I live in flooded really badly about 3 years ago and it was quite sad/scary. Some of the bridges still haven’t been fixed!

AFM, nothing really new except DH is home tonight! The 10 days actually went by pretty quickly but I am excited to see him πŸ™‚

@hogoboom2012 So excited you’re home; loved following your blog; and FX that AF doesn’t show!!!! I’m so hoping this is the cycle for you!

AFM, I’m so behind, I’ll try to stay caught up more from here on out. This past week has been hectic… I officially was offered the new job, so I signed my contract and submitted it yesterday! In TTC news, I had my saline sonogram today, and while it wasn’t exactly a walk in the park, it wasn’t awful. Now I’m just resting up at home! Our follow-up meeting with the RE is next Monday, so we’ll find out what the verdict is then.
