hogoboom2012:  I meant to say that I have a $1250 deductible for individual, but for family its $2,650! My husband and I both have individual because its cheaper right now and I’m really the only one using it.  I’m SO GLAD this cycle wasn’t cancelled!! Yay for trigger and i hope that the IUI goes perfectly tomorrow!!!

JMer711:  that is one neat test! and yes, your lines look good.

madger:  I just got mine from Walgreens, but I only temp orally.

natbrown0703:  Oh boy condoms sure arent meant for some of us lol! … We have to avoid for the next two cycles.

FreckledFox:  Yes, he is a bit skinny for the part.  I saw the one in the comic book is more bulked up.  haha I am glad I am not the only one with condoms laughs.

bijou214:  I added you to FF. If you can get back to sleep after temping at 5 a.m. I would try that but if not, I would just stick to your usual time. I bought the VIP version of FF and I find it super useful- although I have irregular cycles so the more info, the better! Don’t pay full price though, it usually goes on sale!

CatyLady: Thanks lady! How’s this cycle going?

Ohhavok:  That’s awesome about the sperm test- hopefully it’ll give you guys some good results! Darling Husband is a good sport! πŸ™‚ Hope you had a great weekend.

FreckledFox:  Hope you had a great weekend of gardening lovely!

jessc27:  Welcome and so sorry for your loss. Your Darling Husband sounds like an absolute sweetheart. Hope you get some great news to share with him at the end of this cycle :).

happy2bee:  yeah that definitely makes a difference. Sorry for the allergies- are they terrible in the spring? Usually at the beginning of a cycle I’m pretty optimistic then as time goes on I psych myself out and thing “Why would it work this time- it didn’t work any of the other times”. TTC is such a mind frick. I hope the late ovulation/gearing up a bunch before actually ovulating doesn’t mean poor quality- it wouldn’t hurt to ask your OBGYN when you go. You’ll have to let us know what they say. Yay for Europe coming up so quickly though!!

MissCorgi22: OMG- the worm story in the broccoli- yuck! Haha! Thanks my dear- hopefully O will come this week, it’s getting ridiculous over here. Your chart is looking so good! Hope the only questions the Dr. has to answer is about the little bean growing in your belly!!

MrsR4ever:  haha oh no about the condoms! I’m sorry- that sucks! How many weeks to go?

JMer711:  LOL at your DH’s comment about the home fertility test. Yay for the good results, that’s awesome :). Hope this is your cycle girl!

madger:  Welcome! Good luck with the charting next cycle (whenever that may be) and so sorry about your loss. I have no suggestions for a thermometer because I’m in Canada so I doubt you guys have the same brand, but I just wanted to say that I just started temping vaginally this cycle and am a huge fan.

natbrown0703:  Thanks girl. I’m glad you’re feeling so much better but I’m sorry you’re thinking it might be PMDD. Hopefully you won’t be able to confirm that DX just yet though because you’re going to get your BFP this cycle. Glad you had such a great weekend- the nice weather makes everything a little bit better doesn’t it?

FreckledFox:  Does your thermometer have a back light? That’s one thing I wish my thermometer had!

MrsR4ever:  On the plus side, you have regular cycles. Hopefully the condoms get better haha. Are there other birth controls forms that you’re allowed to try? My weekend wasn’t bad- we had some great weather which is nice! It was in the low 70s  here which is almost unheard of for April here. A bunch of our golf courses are already open! We went downtown for dinner and to a play and it was bumping since our city hosted the Junos on Sunday (Canadian music awards). How was yours?

MrsMellyBean:  thanks!  I was ridiculously excited all day on Saturday.  So glad it wasn’t all for nothing!  I’m not planning on testing out the trigger. I think watching it fade into a BFN will be too depressing.  But, I figure if I test around 15/16DP trigger, I’ll have a pretty good idea.

bijou214:  I use the free version and it’s not bad.  There are somethings that I could see the paid version being good for (browsing charts like mine, being able to add more notes, etc) but I just don’t want to pay the money for it πŸ™‚

Ohhavok:  I’ve never seen one of those before, but it looks interesting!

FreckledFox:  it’s cheaper than a full SA that’s for sure.  DH’s was almost $200 and of course insurance doesn’t cover it.  We haven’t paid for another one since they’ll look at count and motility tomorrow anyway.  I just don’t see a point.

jessc27:  I’m so sorry for your loss πŸ™ I have endo and PCOS too and the combo really sucks sometimes!  I hope your rainbow baby comes soon for you!

happy2bee:  thanks!  I’ve had feelings before that “this is finally it!” but nothing’s ever happened.  If you’re concerned, seeing your doctor is definitely a great idea.  I’ve been seeing mine from when we started and she’s been encouraging all the way and offered to do more testing for me than she normally would have offered.   I’d definitely ask. And have a great time in Europe!  That sounds like a perfect distraction.  Did you guys get snow this weekend too?  I know it’s MI and I should be prepared for this, but seriously, it’s getting old.

    MrsR4ever:  thank you!

MissCorgi22:  don’t be nervous!  It is just a talk to see if there’s something else you could be doing/trying.  It doesn’t mean you have to jump into anything until you’re ready.  I hope it goes well for you!

JMer711:  looks lighter than the control to me!  I didn’t even know tests like that were a thing.

MrsR4ever:  I really dislike condoms!  Ugh.  We didn’t have to worry about them much because I was on the pill long before we got married.  After I went off though, we had to TTA for a couple cycles and were both like “what the crap is this?!”  We’ll have to figure out something else for BC after we have a baby because I refuse to do the pill again and I’m not sure how he’ll feel about condoms all the time. Do you have to use them the whole cycle or only during FW?

madger:  Sorry for your loss πŸ™ I just have a regular BBT from RiteAid (like $8?) that works fine!

natbrown0703:  as much as PMDD would suck, at least it’s an answer!  I’m sorry you had to go through AF to find that out though πŸ™ your weekend sounds like a lot of fun though!

FreckledFox:  I’m sorry about the BFN (I think I missed it up until now). πŸ™ I know you’ll have a great little brother or sister for Grady soon!  I’m starting to think about a garden for this summer. I had zuchini last year (because everyone can grow it my mom said) but that doesn’t apply to me apparently.  It totally died without a single zuchini!  How big is your garden?

Triggered last night (easiest injection of all of them – it only took us 14 days to figure it out! :P) and IUI tomorrow morning! I know that realistically the first IUI doesn’t usually work, but I’m trying to be as optomistic as I can and realize that we are doing literally everything we can do and we can’t say we didn’t try.  DH is SO excited and hopeful that this will finally be it for us.

hogoboom2012:  Nope! My thermometer doesnt have a backlight! I wish it did too. I use my cell phone to look at it since i have to imput it then anyway. The beeping is quite loud and it reads after like a full minute or two haha. I’m so used to it now. And my garden used to be a large 8×15 rectangle, but that part of our yard gets barely any sun with our new privacy fence. So I am moving it across the yard, and it will be smaller Raised beds this time. 2- 4x3ft beds and 1- 2x12ft bed in the back. I hope the stuff grows! I have summer squash seedlings going, and i might plant zucchini out there once its nice enough to sow directly into the ground. I only like it as noodles.  πŸ™‚ And thank you. I hope that we can have a sibling for him soon. He needs to pick one already! I’m getting impatient.  YAY for trigger!  I hope that you get first IUI luck.  πŸ™‚ I hope I hope!!!

hogoboom2012:  Yay! I’m so excited for you! FX that this is it but even if it isn’t you are making progress!  Yes we did get snow the other day and again today BOOOO.  The snow from the other day already melted for this but my parents who live 20 miles away more to the Lakeshore said they got 7 inches!

MrsMellyBean:  My allergies are really year round but especially bad in the Spring and Fall.  I use to take allergy shots because I basically test positive for everything they tested me for, but I’ve had to stop because we are TTC and because I take beta blockers for my HBP.  I wish my thermometer had a backlight too! I’m just waiting on a call back from my OB to see when I can get in to see her.

MrsR4ever:  Ugg we don’t like condoms either although we had to use them for over 8 months shortly after we got married because I took a couple of rounds of Accutane and they make you use two forms of BC.

MrsMellyBean:  Your weekend sounds like fun!  Mine was quite and just at home and my sister visited on Sunday, so it was nice seeing her for a bit.  Right now, all we can use is condoms, or simply do other things than intercourse.  We cant have swimmers visiting my island.  I know and Darling Husband is sure that he wasn’t infected with Zika, but because of the CDC regulations our RE is having us taking these precautions.

hogoboom2012:  YAY I am excited for you guys! and I have known of some bees in the past from 1+thread that hit the jackpot at their first IUI, so don’t lose all hope.  FX honey! and yes, we have to use protection the entire cycle.

natbrown0703:  FreckledFox:  I won’t lie, I was definitely a bit let down with the ending too…I had myself so worked up the whole episode– and I could tell while Negan was giving his speech with Lucille and the time we were already at, that we weren’t going to see it. Waiting til October is going to be a damn eternity!!!!! I haven’t watched Talking dead yet because I had to be up so early this morning, but I will watch tonight probably. I loveeeee Norman Reedus, so I am sure I will even more after watching lol.

FreckledFox:  aw yay!!!! Let me know how it goes when you guys do it! I def think it’s a good starting point— not going to get a real SA done yet, but I mean it can at least give you an idea if there’s a sperm count problem going on.

JMer711:  oh yeah!! That is 100% lighter than the control!!! I’d def say your range is normal πŸ™‚ what does the guys one entail?? Maybe I will get this one for me!

MrsR4ever:  Yeahhh, he’s a good man πŸ™‚ Even if he thinks I’m concerned about things he doesn’t think will be an issue, he is always willing to put my mind at ease hehe. What other show do you like Jeffrey Morgan on?? I ask because I just started watching Grey’s anatomy (I know, I’m super late to the game) and I just passed his role in the show and I LOVED him. Bawled my freaking eyes out.

MrsMellyBean:  aw thanks girl, my weekend was really good–we had a lot of fun stuff going on… so we didn’t get as much BD’ing in as I’d wanted. I really wanted to try for twice a day on 2 of the days, but we were so damn busy and so we ended up with O-4,O-3,O-1, and O. I just feel like I have to try something differnet each cycle if it’s not working, which I know isn’t true if we are hitting my fertile times. I keep peeping your chart each time i’m on FF hoping you’ve O’ed πŸ™ I hope it’s soon for you!!! Like I said before, you guys are seriously champs at your BD’ing lol. How was your weekend? πŸ™‚ I see you guys had nice weather…we did too!!! So nice and cool which for us, is also unheard of haha. Where are you at? I’m in Florida so it’s normally ridiculously hot.

MrsMellyBean:  FreckledFox:  my thermometer doesn’t have a backlight either… It would be a nice feature, but I also just wake up to my alarm…grab my phone and thermometer and use my screen to light it up since I need it anyways.

Ohhavok: The male test is a sperm count test — looks like we collect a sample, let it sit for at least 15 mins and then put a drop on the test, plus two drops of two other liquids that it provides and if the test result is the same color or darker than the control, then count is normal. If it’s lighter, then count is low. Even though these are pretty basic tests, it’s definitely nice to take so we can correct any basic issues rather than spinning our wheels and being disappointed month after month. I’ll let you know how it goes after we do his!

P.S. I also watch Grey’s Anatomy and TWD and love Jeffrey Morgan. He was also on Supernatural ocassionally, which I used to watch. I was so bummed about the ending but understand that it’s a good cliffhanger for them. I reeeeeally hope it’s not Daryl πŸ™ He’s my favorite.
