I’m still not convinced that I’m 4 DPO. Considereing my pains and EWCM were alsmost a week before dectected o, I’m thinking that I’m more like 9 DPO (if I’ve even o’d at all)

Cross posted from September POAS:

Hey ladies sorry I’ve been MIA lately. I have long irregular cycles since coming off the pill, and Darling Husband and I have both been feeling the pressure lately which has led to some “performance issues” and arguments. BD was beginning to feel like it was a job and it was starting to put a strain on our relationship. We had a long talk and realized there’s no reason to put ourselves under this type of pressure right now. We decided to take a step back and take on a NTNP approach. No more OPK’s, no more CM checks, no scheduled BD. Nothing! I’m still temping because I need to do that in order to figure out if/when I’m ovulating, but that’s it. We are now having sex for fun and it’s been FABULOUS! That being said, I’m trying not to spend as much time on the Bee, because this reminds me of how bad I really want a baby right now. But right now, i’m focusing on my husband and we’ve been having the best time together. I’ll still be hanging around here, just not as often. Now lets bring on some September BFPs!!!

CuriousOne: Awww you’re so sweet! You’re a friend in my head too! It’s funny but I start talking to my Fiance about you guys and when he finally zones in and realizes I’m talking to him he’s all “who?”. OOPS! I forget he’s not a bird on my shoulder through the day sometimes. It’s SO nice to be able to come here and have a forum full of wonderful women like you – it makes me feel less alone and isolated when I’m doing something SO exciting and amazing and I can’t tell anyone in real life. Kissanotherbee:  The other awesome side effect of deciding to chart ONLY ONCE and at the same time every day (other than a prettier chart) has been that I’ve been able to sleep a little bit better as well. I’ve always been a bad sleeper, but that first month of charting it was worse than ever – I seem to have settled back into my pattern now, so instead of waking 3-4 times I’m waking 1-2 times a night. And I still think you O’d on CD24, regardless of what TCOYF says. Look at your temps….how the hell did you get such a high coverline? Every temp you had after CD24 was higher than ANY OTHER TEMP (except CD25) you’d had the rest of your cycle. I think if your temp on CD25 was just a tiny smidgen higher so that it was higher than all the previous temps, you would have gotten your crosshairs there on CD24. After that you had a consistent rise with a slight dip, but all higher temps than anything prior.
ChuckNorrisFTW: POSITIVE! Get busy lady! So jealous….I wish mine got as dark as that! Have you been drinking less water or is that the result of just really good timing? Glad you had a great weekend!!!! And I still want the deets on your Elaine moves!!!!! πŸ˜‰ hahahaaha
hamikay: Definitely way easier and getting more sleep – so glad I took a page out of your book! I remembered you and another girl were talking about that and I decided to try it out – it’s really paid off. Thanks! πŸ™‚ And if it weren’t for your low temp on CD4, your chart wouldn’t be looking too whack (love KrissKross!)! I hate how one temp can ruin it!
@rubyred605:  your timing looks impeccable! FX for you love!

@skipper2010:  Oh good for you guys! So glad you are finding something that works for you. This isn’t an easy process by any means. When you go home find something FUN and SEXY to wear and BD because you can!

@skipper2010:  I’m glad you’re having a lot more fun with it! I think that’s what it’s all about – and I think why my Fiance doesn’t want to know anything about the process. Because you’re still temping and you know when you’ll O, maybe plan a romantic date-night for that day and go have a nice dinner with a couple glasses of wine, and just let nature take it’s course. I don’t think drinking would affect you too much – my mom says I was conceived “with a bottle of bacardi!”
@MrsJuneBee:  No idea about the allergies thing….but if having a cold can affect them, maybe those can too?
@RoyalLime:  Hope you got your O!!!!

@RoyalLime:  I think GRey’s premiers on the 23rd??

@MrsJuneBee:  wow, that’s quite the spike! You mentioned allergies, but could it be a cold? how are you feeling?

@MrsPuddingface:  You are my favorite person right now. I’m sticking with you on the o being closer to CD 25. I bet if one of the 97.4 temps (CD 29 for example) was a little higher, my CL would be lower and I’d have gotten an eggie on CD 24/25. You think I’m safe to say I’m 9DPO? That would mean that I could test early next week! And that I might actually have a chance!

I’m beein POAS all this week anyways, since I’m been so out of sorts. Super emotional, feeling like shit, sneezing/stuffy nose.

Obvioulsy all BFNs

@anotherbee:  I really do not understand how you got such a high coverline, since you have 29 temps (out of a total of 33) leading upto CD30 that fall BELOW the coverline they’ve given you! You know what I’d do? If I were you I’d sign up for fertilityfriend and input ALL the same data you’ve got on your TCOYF chart, and see what FF thinks of it all. I really just don’t understand that coverline.
ETA: I just added up ALL of your temps, except the ones you dismissed. I got 2914.2. Divide that by your number of temps (again, except the ones you dismissed) and you get an average of 97.14. Assuming we round it up to 97.2, that’s still 0.5 below your coverline…that’s a huge difference! (I know the coverline calculation isn’t done like this, this was just an experiment) Look at your chart and imagine a 97.2 coverline and it makes a LOT more sense to me.

@MrsPuddingface:  I actually was just doing that!

I put back to CD 18 (since I’m at work) and it’s still telling me CD 29. Funny, when I was putting in temps, it switched it to CD 25 when I put in temps at CD 23 ish. I don’t remember which date exactly, but it notified me that it switched to CD 25, and then it notified me that it switched back to CD 29!

ETA: now that I’ve put in my EWCM it’s telling me CD 25.

SO CONFUSING!

@MrsPuddingface:

@anotherbee:

I think I have been feeling alright πŸ™‚ Maybe a tad on the tired side, and as far as allergies its just been slight a sneeze here and there (especially in the morning) but I suppose it could be a slight cold! I did wake about 1/2 hour before and fell back asleep, but I wouldn’t think it would affect the temps that much πŸ™‚

I agree with @MrsPuddingface:  about your coverline, it seems to high. I also agree that maybe you should put your chart into fertility friend and see what that says? It’s free! You chart wouldn’t be taking temps into consideration from the month prior would it?
