@MrsJuneBee:  my allergies TOTALLY ruined my chart this week – have a look at my link above (you can’t even SEE day 6 coz I dicarded it, it’s up at 36.8!!). hopefully that doesn’t happen too often…

@anotherbee:  honestly, i’d tell your OBGYN exactly what is happening, take in your different charts, and get an expert opinion. I may be reading your post wrong but you seem to be implying that you might choose what you tell him in order to get certain treatments, but I personally think this is a dangerous path… i totally understand the frustration of waiting and working things out, but i’d be nervous about assuming more knowledge than him. This is just my two cents, please take it with the concern and goodwill that I intend it!!! Wishing you all the very best, I do understand the frustration of irregular cycles and confusing symptoms.

@hamikay:  Thanks :). No offense taken! I’m just concerned that if I did o, and it was a fluke, I might not o again, but that he wouldn’t give me the clomid because I o’d. Was really just loomingforward to starting it. I was supposed to start it in June πŸ™

I wouldn’t assume I know more that him, I just don’t want to wait around to not o anymore. I’ve been off the pilltiff a year. That’s a lot of waiting πŸ™

@anotherbee:  i feel you, lady!! we’re coming up to our 12 month mark of TTC – i thought i’d have a baby by now, or at least be very very pregnant, and here I am waiting to see when I O again… I’ve been off the pill for 2 years and still have irregular cycles (no longer than 44 days, though, so i can only imagine how much harder your looong cycles must be!!!)

I just get nervous about drugs and even some supplements, in fear that they may do more harm than good – i’ve read that Clomid has some pretty scary side-effects with long-term use, so I just wanted to urge caution. I think you still have a strong case that something is wrong, even with a potential O (and, i’ve read in some cases a temp surge can mask a lack of O, i think there is something about this in TCOYF somewhere). I hope you find some answers soon!!!!

@anotherbee:  Based on your chart, I’m not sure you did O. Did you get a 7DPO progesterone test? Your chart really isn’t showing that clear of a temperature shift. Actually, if you did O, I would guess it was on CD23 or 24, making your LP at least 10 days long.

@anotherbee:  I don’t think that would be a reason for your doctor not to give you Clomid. I told my OBGYN I was ovulating (or at least I assumed I was?) and she still gave me the Clomid. Even if you are O’ing, it may not be strong enough. Don’t know the technicals of it, but that’s just how she explained it to me. I know they say early spotting can possibly be a sign of low progesterone. They also prescribe Clomid for that as well. So I would be very honest with her/him and let them make the decision. Good luck, fingers crossed your not out yet.

@hamikay:  Thanks for your concern. OBGYN has already said we will not do more than 3 rounds of clomid, so it doesn’t sound like I’ll have to worry about long term usage. After that , if I’m not preggers, we’ll move on to looking at other causes for lack of pregnancy (blocked tubes, SA, [although DH had a pregnancy in a past relationship, so I doubt we need an SA], etc)

@bunny:  no progesterone test. OBGYN gave me met in June and told me to come back in Sept, so there hasn’t been any communication about what’s been going on so far. I expect I’ll get another round of blood work whenI go back on the 27th, but it likely won’t be a 7DPO test!

And yes, TCOYF chart is being weird, however my FF chart is giving me cross hairs. I had an eggie on TCOYF until I put in my spotting from yesterday, then it took it away!

Good morning my lovelies! Just checking in quick – CD12, waiting for O. Small temp spike this morning, but likely attributed to the fact that I had one of the worst sleeps ever last night – I MAYBE got a solid hour. B!tchy, headachey and tired. Must get work done so day goes faster………

Hope you all have a fab weekend! Checking back in Monday! πŸ™‚

@rubyred605:  I always use the first temp. But yes, they are hard for temping. I’ll be glad if this cycle does end as I’m changing my temping habit and time to see if my charts look Ny different

I’m concerned that I do not ovulate πŸ™ I did BBT the first month and then just went by CM on the second month and now I’m back to charting.
I read on the board yesterday that someone used a microscope to test Estrogen, but I’m not sure if it would be a waste.
I have talked to a few doctors who suspect I have PCOS, but being inbetween insurances makes it hard to get it looked at.
I was wondering if anyone could look at my chart and give me some ideas. I’m very new to posting about my chart so I hope I’m doing everything right!  Thanks!!
