FreckledFox:  I don’t have experience with this yet but I’d say try to get yourself busy focusing on something else for a few days. A project, hobby, or chore…or something fun! Before you know it a few days will have gone by and AF will be out the door! πŸ™‚

FreckledFox:  The first few days really do suck.  I usually get over it quickly and start looking forward to the next cycle.  I don’t do anything specific.  I sulk and get mad, maybe go out to dinner and have a couple drinks.  And then I am back to being excited about possibly getting pregnant the following cycle.  But those days are the worst.  I remember a couple cycles ago I thought I could be pregnant and was out with my mom all day.  I ended up getting AF and I just broke down crying to her. FX for a BFP for you this cycle!

FreckledFox:  I’m so sorry you’re feeling down.  Totally understandable….this TTC stuff is so emotionally hard.  The good news is it’s the weekend!  I don’t know what you have planned for the weekend but try and do something fun!  Plan a special date night with DH to your favourite restaurant and order something you wouldn’t get to order if you were pregnant.  Or go to a new place you’ve been meaning to try.  Book a spa appointment for some pampering.  Cross off a house project you’ve been meaning to get done for a while.  Explore some new biking/walking trails if it’s nice out.  Whatever….just keep busy and it will be ready to try again in no time.  Hopefully this next cycle is it for you!

BFN for me this morning so I’m sure I’ll be trying to follow my own advice in a few days!

Is it normal for my OPK to be streaked pink like the bottom one? I took it 15 minutes ago. It makes it really hard to see the lines.

mkat37:  Thanks ladies! We are finally painting our house’s exterior this weekend. It’s been months in the making and I’m so excited to do it! Plus we have a trip to Maine in a week we’re planning. I’m still in the dumps, but it’s helping. I do plan to have a drink or two tonight.

mkat37:  I’m sorry about the BFN  πŸ™  I really hope that F stays away for you. How are you feeling about this cycle? Your chart still looks good to me!

MiJeS1104:  The day I thought I saw a line, I was pretty excited because my family would be coming over, including my pregnant sister and I thought that I was feel different towards her since she’s been really moody. But AF showed and it’s even tougher to be genuinely excited for her and her friend. :/  I have only cried to my DH. I have a few friends from WB I email and I’ve cried to them.. but I havent told my mom that we are trying. Sometimes i think it would be easier to tell her.. but at the same time she’s the type that would ask “pregnant yet? How are you feeling! maybe you are pregnant!” so yeah. I really hope this is your month!!!

jammer62:  Mine look like that if I got urine above the MAX line. It should turn white after its dried!

AFM, thankfully AF decided to take it easy on my this month. My cramps are usually HORRIBLE, but she seems to have some mercy. I wonder if the prenatals, or semen have anything to do with it. Either way, I’m thankful for that at least! I had to do a Maternity photoshoot yesterday. The mom is due in 9 days. It was tough, but I got through it. I’m going to focus on house stuff this weekend, and planning our next trip.  πŸ™‚

FreckledFox:  Thanks! It has lightened a bit. I guess I’ll just barely dip it next time… maybe that will help.

candy11:  Yeah this is a really long cycle for me. I decided that if AF doesn’t show up tomorrow, I’ll call my RE and ask for a blood test. I don’t think I’m pregnant, but I’m concerned it may be something else.

Nic01:  Sorry about the BFN, they always suck πŸ™

peachcake:  I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope you get your rainbow baby soon.

LittleRiver:  Jan 2015 is just around the corner, FX you’ll get a BFP your first cycle!

FreckledFox:  I’m usually annoyed the first day of AF, but the following day I’m already hopeful that next cycle will work. My experience is a bit different since I prefer to have AF than go through another chemical pregnancy. Remember that even with perfect health and timing, there is only a 20% of success each cycle, I know it’s no consolation but it helps to know that you’re doing everything you can to get pregnant. Also, we are all rooting for you to get your BFP πŸ™‚

HopefulSim:  I also get super excited when I have fertile CM and since I rarely have any, it’s even more exciting when I have it hehehe.

Four days after taking my third active BC pill then stopping I started another withdrawl bleed which would have been on CD 12 from the last withdrawl. These are the OPKs the last three days. Do you think I should keep testing or start my cycle days over and count CD1 as the first day of the last withdrawl bleed (yesterday, CD 12), I thought the OPKs getting darker meant I might ovulate but now I’m wondering if it’ll be another 2 weeks.

FreckledFox:  I’m not feeling too optimistic about this cycle only because I have literally zero symptoms so far. I know lots of ladies get BFPs without symptoms but I think I would feel better if I just felt something different than usual. That will be so nice to have your house painted! I would like to change our colour but we also have about 36436 interior projects that are more important.

FreckledFox:  sorry you are feeling so down. For me, the first two months I was disappointed but it wasn’t too bad. The third month was the first one where I actually cried and felt really down. I let myself feel sad for the first day and then I got excited again that the next month would be the one. Didn’t really do anything specific, just tried to mentally tell myself that it would happen when it’s meant to πŸ™‚

jammer62:  I too would say it’s streaked pink because you probably dipped the OPK pass the max line. They should look fine when they dry up!

AFM turns out I have a beginning of bronchitis. I was prescribed an inhaler and a syrup so hopefully I stray feeing better. This is making me sad however did this month is probably not going to be the one wih DH on antibiotics, me now on meds as well and my chart going all crazy πŸ™

FreckledFox:  Drink it while you still can! πŸ™‚ LOL! Sorry you’re feeling down. It totally sucks, especially when you’ve been charting and anticipating for so long. I can’t remember what I did the first few days after but I know it was one of my worst periods ever. Major cramping. Made it even worse! I think then I went on a used website and found a Clearblue Easy Fertility Monitor because I decided I was not patient enough to just rely on my charts. πŸ˜‰

emsy3110:  What does your DH have? I was reading the other day that some men go on antibiotics to help with any infections in their reproductive tracts… so the antibiotics might not be a problem! And I wonder if Bronchitis is an inhibitor either. Does your doctor know that you are TTC? Are the meds you were prescribed safe for pregnant women?

Turtle83:  I long to be more hopeful! I’m excited, but at the same time I can’t let go of August’s failure yet!  :/

mkat37:  I personally know 3 people who had zero symptoms, but i totally understand! I was begging for some symptoms towards my last few days, just to signify something was happening… but nope. I hope you get a better outcome!

NewfieBullet:  I thought about getting a monitor a few times, but I honestly think my DH would think I was crazy! I already do so much haha.  πŸ™‚ I told him that I didn’t know what else to do… and he just said, “I guess we’re going to just do MORE of what we’re doing”. Thats our new plan.. same plan, just more of it!
