LittleRiver:  Haha, thorough it was. I can get carried away in my responses sometimes:) I thought you had a Destination Wedding but I wasn’t sure if I had the right person in mind. Hence why I typed spouse instead of DH;) I actually scanned back a bazillion pages but couldn’t find the info. This thread moves so quickly lately!

It makes sense to to TTC soon based on the details of your journey. Not that I would judge if I disagreed. I think the decision of if and when to have kids is a very personal decision and nobody’s buisness except the 2 (or in some cases 3) people involved. 10% is a great chance though! A normal healthy woman our age has about a 10-15% chance each month. I like your odds! I, unfortunately, have a less than 2% chance every month:( Endo sucks. I also know what you mean about not being able to wait any longer in your heart- when you want babies you want babies! I’ve been feeling the urge for quite a few years now myself- since my late 20’s- and it’s been getting stronger every year (who am I kidding, it’s stronger every month!) Waiting is hard. It’ll all be worth it eventually though. I’m excited for you!

I have a question. How bad is it to start exercising while TTC? I really don’t get much exercise at all and DH and I wanted to join a gym. I don’t want to go crazy but would like to go 3-4 days a week. Maybe do some cardio for 20-30 min and some light weights. I’m worried about this delaying ovulation. I’m going to call my doctor tomorrow and get his thoughts but figured I’d get your guys opinions anyway. Thanks!

MiJeS1104:  Well, I do 2-3 times a week, 30 min cardio and 30 min weights. I think 3-4 times a week should be fine, but I cannot remember for how long each session. I don’t feel like I over do it. I heard doing excessive exercise can delay ovulation, and that’s why doctors recommend to limit it to 3-4 times a week. It’s a good idea to ask your doctor.

I have another question.  I’m sorry if I ask too many of these.  This just feels overwhelming right now and with a bunch of stress at work, it’s not helping.

Ever since I went off BC, I’ve had major headaches every day.  I’ve tried drinking more water, started taking magnesium, sleeping more, hot showers, heat packs on the back of my neck, etc, but it’s not helping. I’m now doing Ibuprofen every 6-8 hours.  It’s worst when I first wake up, which is when I took the pill every day.  Is this normal?   I’ve tried calling my OB/GYN, but I’ve left a message every week for a month asking for a laparoscopy date and some answers to other questions and she’s not called back yet (family medical emergency).  I’ve seen some medical research that says it is a side effect of going off the pill, but I was definitely not expecting 3 weeks of this.

    ROLL CALL!

    TTC/TTA: TTC

    CD/DPO: CD28… still no O. (Odd case here… I’m waiting for a cycle after a M/C.)

Cycles TTC/Charting: Too many to count. πŸ™

    Age: 30

POAS/AF Date: No idea… charting after a miscarriage.

BFP Plan and/or Known Issues: We’re waiting for Ovulation/AF before we do another IVF round. (trying for #3… Georgia was #1, we just lost a little boy… and now we try again.)

Random Question: If you could visit any country/city in the world, where would it be? I’m a bit homesick for the UK, so I guess I’d like to go back to London.

Aqualov: I’m so glad you will be having your surgery so soon. It is a great plan to do it during Thanksgiving to minimize time off at your new job. Will you start TTC the following cycle or do you need to wait?

FreckledFox:  Thank you! I probably did say that, sometimes it’s hard to follow my own advice, but you’re right πŸ™‚

candy11:  MrsFairyBee: emsy3110:  Thank you ladies!

livelaughlove628:  Thank you! How’s your pregnancy going? Have you had your first appointment yet? So exciting times for you πŸ™‚

hogoboom2012:  Are you headaches more from eye strain? I get constant headaches at work from staring at my computer, or reading too much. I don’t know much about headaches post BCPs, but its definitely something to ask your doctor about.

    Turtle83:  Thinking about you today!

AFM, nothing but BFNs this weekend.  Boo.  Today is our 2nd anniversary and I was hoping that the timing would work out and I could surprise DH with BFP news today.  Just waiting for AF to show up in the next few days now.  I think I might add OPKs into the mix for next cycle.  Not sure why…..maybe just to feel like I’m trying something different.

mkat37:  Happy Anniversary!!! Sorry about the BFNs  πŸ™ One thing to keep in mind with opks, they are the DEVIL when negative, but once you get a postive, they are the best things EVER. I love that extra bit of data to confirm O.  πŸ™‚

FreckledFox:  Thanks!  I’ve heard that about OPKs so I’ve been hesitant to try them just in case it stresses me out too much but after 2 cycles of BFNs I want to shake things up a bit.  If I get stressed out I’ll just ditch them again next cycle.
