jammer62:  AF has been a bit longer for me than it was when I was on BCP. On BC it would only last 3 days but now it’s more like 4 days followed by at least 2 days of light spotting. I’m not an expert but I don’t think a longer AF means a delayed O. Plus, even if you start BD on CD 8-9 that’s still okay, unless you are one of those women who ovulates super early.

KatiePi:  how old is your cat?  I remember those early days, when I couldn’t sleep past 4:30 am.  My little guy has gotten a lot better now that he’s the rip old age of three.  Sometimes he still likes to bite my feet early in the morning when he wants to play, but many mornings he’s really not that bad.

auggiefrog:  He’s 4. I think he’s just adjusting to both of us being back to work (I’m a teacher) so there’s less play time during the day. We’re definitely working on burning off that energy this weekend!

KatiePi:  My cat is being a total ass for a different reason.  This morning she peed on our bed.  She started doing it frequently a few months ago and we took her to the vet and was told she had a urinary tract infection and crystals in her urine.  That has since been cleared up but she still pees on our bed once every few weeks or so.  It’s completely behavioural now and super annoying.  She’s lucky she’s so cute!!

mkat37:  aww poor cat! Our cat did that too, but only when he was mad at Darling Husband. He also pulled poop out if the litter box and put it under DH’s pillow a few years ago. He’s never done it on my side. Cats are weird!

Dangit-I can’t edit to add this to my above post. Wanted to see what the experts thought about what’s going on with me today.

Still no AF (12DPO), but some very light browinish/light pink spotting (not cramps, just a sharp O-type pain once or twice today). When I checked for CM I noticed my cervix is super low and very soft, which is unusual for me at this point in my cycle. CM appears super creamy/almost EW but with the brownish spotting. This is weird-I’m dizzy today. I’ve eaten enough, drank chocolate milk and water, but am still dizzy. Any thoughts?

MrsHoneyC:  Hi lady! I remember you. I think you got your BFP right around when I joined the Charters hehe. Yey AF finally showed up for you.

jammer62:  I don’t think having long period means you will ovulate late. It’s all about each person’s body. Each person starts to generate hormones needed for O at different times and rates, so it really depends on how your body works.

Ladies, something odd is happening. As some of you remember, I started Vitex this cycle. Well today, without spotting as I usually do a few days before my period starts, I am starting to get my period which is all good. So, I am thinking that’s a good sign and my hormone levels are starting to balance, blah blah blah. The weird thing is that today is only my 13dpo, and I usually have 14-day LP, and I am super regular with my LP. So, I am here thinking, could I have ovulated two days earlier than I thought or is vitex messing up with my LP. I want to think I ovulated earlier on CD 23. What do y’all think? Here is my chart.

    ROLL CALL!

TTC/TTA: TTA for another 2 or 3 months

CD/DPO: CD20 — FF thinks I ovulated WAY early this month (CD9? after O’ing on CD 27 last month??), but I think that’s just due to some noisy temps — based on CM I am somewhere right around my O date… what do you all think?

    Cycles TTC/Charting: 3rd cycle charting

    Age: 30

POAS/AF Date: Unsure! Still getting my cycles figured out

BFP Plan and/or Known Issues: No known issues, and my plan while TTA is to be as healthy as I can! Have been exercising a lot more lately, which feels good, and taking prenatals.

Random Question: If you could visit any country/city in the world, where would it be? Too many to name them all, but at the top of my list, I have always wanted to go to Japan!

From the poll: I did Brownies/Girl Scouts for quite a while, but also piano, swim team, and horseback riding! Here’s hoping my own future kids never catch pony fever, haha…

Also, I have been soooooooo exhausted from the new job that I slept right through my temping alarm this morning. And I’m right around O! UGH don’t you hate it when that happens?

I got back from the cruise earlier today, it was nice to relax and enjoy time with my family. Darling Husband hated the cruise hahaha so I don’t think we’ll ever go on a cruise again, but he suggested we should go to an all inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic next summer with my family. He really loves my family, and he even suggested we should pay for their trips so they can definitely join us, yay! So if I’m not pregnant or have a baby by then I have an awesome family vacation to look forward to 😀 Now I have 2 more days in Miami to enjoy the sun and yummy food 🙂
