candy11:  FX you’re next! When I was pregnant there were two other ladies in my building due a month and a day after me (yes, they had the same due dates)!

AFM, some semi-related TTC stuff, one of my pre-TTC goals is to lose my baby weight before trying again, and I’m doing well! 4 weeks ago I decided to cut out flour and potato (I’ve done WW in the past but counting points, or calories for that matter, is tough when you’re feeding more than yourself). I’m not even that strict about it. I’ll eat it if we are invited to someone’s house for dinner, or once in a while at home if I don’t feel like cooking (frozen pizza!). I also walk a ton (though we’re getting into the wet season here and it’s harder, and am planning to add in a once a week stroller fitness class and some home fitness. I’ve lost 6.4lbs and have 11.6lbs to go till my pre-pregnancy weight, though I imagine I will hang on to some since I’m nursing.

Does anyone else’s stomach feel warmer during their LP?  I never noticed this before, but it always makes me hope that I’m KU.  But I never am.  Maybe this time.

auggiefrog:  Yes, sometimes. It’s weird. I think for me it has to do with the fact that my temp post-O is so much higher than pre-O. I can actually feel the chill that descends when AF arrives (that sounds a little horror movie-y…).

This is not charting related, but man, I am so tired today! I was in bed by 8 last night, asleep just after 10, and didn’t wake up until 7:30. I still feel like I could sleep for hours!

    How was everyone’s week?

candy11:  Oh my gosh, that’s like my (high school department). We’ve had a trend the past two years-one of our male English department memebers’ wives has given birth just as school started! I keep thinking that if lucky I could be pregnant when school starts next year or shortly after and continue the trend! On another note, I do have two pregnant seniors and both are starting to show. They are both very sweet girls, but every once in awhile I’ll look and think about the fact that these two high school seniors are having babies and DH still wants to stick to “our plan”. It’s for good reason, but sometimes the thoughts just pop in your head.

NewfieBullet:  catwoman1701:  arielmerms:  Ladies my ultrasound went great, we not only saw the fetal pole, but we also saw the heartbeat! It was so amazing to see it flickering on the screen, it was 107, and the nurse said that was a great number. Before doing the ultrasound she warned us that we may not see the fetal pole yet, since it was too early and to not be concerned if that was the case, so we had really low expectations. When she pointed to the fetal pole and then said we had a heartbeat, we both couldn’t believe it! DH couldn’t stop smiling, he was almost tearing up. I measured 5 weeks+5 days on Wednesday and today I measured exactly at 6 weeks, so it’s growing on track. She checked my cervix and told me there was some old blood, and that my spotting was most likely due to irritation of my cervix because of the progesterone medication. I’m on pelvic rest (no sex, pool, baths) for 2 weeks. Looking back at my chart it would mean that I got my faint BFP around 8 DPO. It feels so real now that we saw the heartbeat and DH and I couldn’t be happier πŸ™‚

    Turtle83:  Best news ever!!!

AFM, I’ve been following along by email and chart stalking but couldn’t really work up the energy to post.  Hasn’t been the best week emotionally for me.  I’ve been feeling totally blah for some reason….then my mid-cycle spotting I experienced last cycle (that I hoped was a one time thing) came back, which didn’t help. THEN, our sweet 1.5 year old dachshund developed a sudden severe case of seperation anxiety this week.  She freaks OUT if she’s left alone for even a second and even chewed through the baby gate in the kitchen.  We’re at a complete loss trying to figure out what set her off.  Monday night was totally normal and then everything changed Tuesday morning and it’s breaking my heart to see her so distraught.  So obviously, we’re a bit stressed out and haven’t been sleeping well at all (and even slept apart a few nights so someone could be near her to comfort her) and haven’t BD at all.  My temp was up this morning so of course now I’m worried we have completely missed my FW. Ugh!  But my OPKs are still negative and my CW is fertile so maybe last night was just a fluke.

Needless to say, I’m so ready for the weekend!  Hopefully we can kind of reset and get back to normal.
