FreckledFox:  yes I double checked and it was set to advanced for all my cycles. I changed it to FAM and it removed my ovulation line for tomorrow. What will FAM do though?

    ROLL CALL!

    TTC/TTA: TTA, TTC in February

CD/DPO: CD1. Yep, that’s right, AF is back only 4 months after LO was born, and still exclusively BF, day and night! Oh well, I’m looking forward to charting again.

Cycles TTC/Charting: 16 cycles charting before pregnancy, 1st after pregnancy.

    Age: 28, DH is 36

POAS/AF Date: Just got AF today, first one after my pregnancy

BFP Plan and/or Known Issues: Lose extra baby weight (20-25lbs) before getting pregnant again, keep up with prenatals.

    Link to Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/newfiebullet/

Random Question: Who was your hero when you were a kid, and what did you do to be like them? Honestly, no idea.

Well, AF is back! I was pretty sure it was coming as I could tell I was ovulating based on CM (not that you can’t ovulate while BF and no getting AF), a little cramping. So far it’s not as heavy and I’m less crampy than before pregnancy so that’s good. I’m excited to be charting for real again though and I’ll probably get the VIP FF again for a year since I get a renewal discount and we’ll be TTC again soon. πŸ™‚

candy11:  I absolutely LOVE when my cycle day lines up with the month!!! Enjoy πŸ™‚

    ROLL CALL!

TTC/TTA: TTA until December. Only 1 more cycle after this one then it’s BD time, wow!

CD/DPO: CD5 and fighting a cold so my temps really suck right now, but at least it’s not during or before O!

    Cycles TTC/Charting: 0 TTC / 5 Charting

    Age: We’re both 26

POAS/AF Date: AF Due Oct. 10th…great, that’s DH’s B-Day…awesome. Sorry future DH, lol.

BFP Plan and/or Known Issues: Prenatals, Pregnitude (myo-inositol), also I’ve been making sure my laptop is no longer on my lap. After the MC in June I’m a little paranoid about the heat and wave lengths and stuff going through my computer when it’s placed above my reproductive organs.

    Link to Chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/mrsfairybee

Random Question: Who was your hero when you were a kid, and what did you do to be like them? Pocahontas, a la Disney. I wanted to be like her so bad. I’d run around outside barefoot, singing, hair flying in the wind, pretending I was a Native American. I even made up my own Native language…still remember a bit of it, lol.

As for the poll: I’d love to live in a castle back when there were kings and queens.

LittleRiver:  Thank you for the reply! I’ve been doing research on it and I’m still so on the fence about using it now or waiting. It seems that I have been ovulating but not until cd 21. I just don’t want to mess up anything. I think I might hold off this month until I can talk to my doctor

emsy3110:  I’m not sure exactly what the FAM does. It’s fertility signs (which I figured Advanced does as well). Hmm… maybe switch it back in a few days and see if Advanced gives you the line after opk or not!

NewfieBullet: 4 months out? Wow! And Exclusively BFing? Wow, you can’t plan for anything!  I have a friend who had the same issue, and another who’s ready to TTC again and AF just wont come back! Luck of the draw I guess! Glad AF isn’t being a total bitch though.  πŸ˜‰  Also, I think I’ve mentioned before… my age difference with my DH is the same as yours! I’m 27 and he’s 35 right now, so next year we’ll be the same as you guys.  πŸ™‚ It makes me feel better to see other ladies with a larger age difference and DHs over 30!

MrsFairyBee:  OMG only one more cycle til TTC?? YAY! And LOL at Pocahontas! You reminded me that I wanted to be Belle!  πŸ™‚ I had the gold dress as a halloween costume one year and i would NOT take it off.  πŸ™‚

FreckledFox:  My friend had hers come back 6 weeks after giving birth!!! You can’t plan at all! I loved not having to deal with AF though. I always like to remind DH that I was 10 when he graduated high school! LOL It is weird when you think about it that way!

FreckledFox:  Yes! Only one more cycle! (after this cycle that just started that is, so really 2) But still, yay! haha. If my cycles stay about the same I’ll start THE cycle in late Nov. but won’t O until early/mid December which is go time! And I was such a Disney girl, loved all the princesses and fairies (obvi.), my imagination would just run wild! Sometimes I miss that carefree imagination and creativity of childhood. Hopefully I get to watch my children embrace it. πŸ™‚

emsy3110:  I don’t know why FF does that, so weird. I notice there is no coverline. I would just ignore it and know that ovulation has not been confirmed, so keep BD. Hopefully in the next few days you can confirm O as your temps rise.

MrsFairyBee:  Yey, same here one more cycle after this. I would probably start it late November to ovulate in December, and I am calling that my TTC cycle. So happy for us πŸ™‚

NewfieBullet:  It’s so funny when he talks about dates and then realizes, “OMG YOU WEREN’T BORN YET!” And the fact that I graduated Elementary school when he graduated high school is a great bit to bring up when he’s bothering me. πŸ˜‰ Hahaha

MrsFairyBee:  Same here!!! My DH and I have said that so many time. We hope they can always have that fun, carefree, children’s excitement over everyday things!

MrsFairyBee:  my DH and I were just talking about this the other day. It makes me sad when I see young kids so dependent on technology to be entertained instead of using their imagination.  I know it’s hard to avoid technology in this day and age but we really want to try and limit it the best we can and encourage creativity and more time for “make believe” playing.

    ROLL CALL!

TTC/TTA: NTNP – not sure when I O yet and I seem to get multiple patches of fertile looking CM, so we’re taking it easy.

    CD/DPO: CD19

Cycles TTC/Charting: NTNP since April/First cycle charting

    Age: 27, DH 27

    POAS/AF Date: TBD

BFP Plan and/or Known Issues: PCOS. Cycle is still regulating after coming off BC last year and adjusting to 1000mg Metformin. Taking Prenatals, Vitamin D3, B-Complex.

Random Question: Who was your hero when you were a kid, and what did you do to be like them? Not really a hero but I LOVED watching Cinderella when I was little and would dress up like her and watch the movie over and over. I remember pretending to be like her and scrubbing the floors with a dry rag – what a help I was! My mom has also told me that I was easy to potty train because all she had to tell me was that I could wear “big girl” Cinderella panties if I used the grown up potty πŸ™‚ Also, I hate the word panties.

kiraly17:  Haha, I needed to just say that I too hate the word panties. FX for you this cycle!! I don’t think I have the right personality to NTNP. I’m too crazy.  πŸ˜‰

FreckledFox:  Haha! Glad I’m not the only one…the worst is when you say panties out loud. Cringing at the thought…and I’m the furthest from a prude.

I actually don’t really have the right personality to NTNP either, as I check my chart 25 times a day thinking it will look different and I symptom spot like crazy. It’s more of a compromise with DH right now….also, I have PCOS so I’m still trying to understand my cycle and see if I am able to O on my own (with just Metformin). I’m trying not to stress too much about it so we are BD’ing when we feel like it, but don’t get me wrong, I will DEFINITELY initiate if I think I am about to O. Sneaky like that.

You ladies were so helpful to me last week I think I’ll officially join the thread!

    ROLL CALL!

    TTC/TTA: TTC next cycle!

    CD/DPO: CD 35/ 6 DPO–ovulated late this cycle

Cycles TTC/Charting: Starting TTC as soon as I’m done with this cycle!  This is my 4th cycle charting

    Age: 25

POAS/AF Date: AF should arrive Sep 17

BFP Plan and/or Known Issues: Well, next cycle we will BD as much as possible during my FW, and I also bought some pre-seed.  No known issues except for a late ovulation this cycle.  I posted in the other thread that I thought stress had delayed O, and sure enough a couple days later I had a temp spike.  I’m just hoping my cycles will go back to normal this time around.  Usually they are 30-32 days but I think this one might be more like 42!  Yikes!  Although it actually turned out kind of good for me–we’d planned on TTC in October, and if my cycles had stayed regular I wouldn’t have O’d til about the 27th.  As it is now, though, I’ll probably O around the 7th–almost three weeks ahead of schedule!

Link to Chart: Right now my chart is still on paper, but I’m working on uploading it to fertility friend πŸ™‚
