MrsFairyBee:  Well look at you at your last cycle before TTC. So jealous!! Hehe Maybe this might be my last one too.

BeverlyGeese:  I agree with FF that CD13 is likely the day you ovulated.

Turtle83:  That’s some great news. Take all the time you need…you deserve it. ๐Ÿ™‚

NewfieBullet:  Sorry you haven’t ovulated yet, but on the bright side, you seem to be getting some fertile CM, which is always a good sign. Hang in there.

AFM, I feel like I should have ovulated or am about to very soon! I am getting all the signs, so hopefully this temp drop I just had mean I did.

Hey ladies, sorry I haven’t been very active lately, we were travelling.

Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on a temping question: I noticed this month that my BBT is significantly lower than last. For example, last month after I o’ed my temps were all up around 97.7-ish, with nothing really lower than 97.5. This month I just o’ed on Tuesday, but I’m still in the lower 97s (97.2, 97.3). I also noticed my pre-o temps were lower (the day I o’ed I dipped all the way down to 96.4). I was travelling, but I was also making sure to temp at the same time, and it was only a 1 hour time difference. I’m not sure if this is normal considering it’s gotten quite a bit cooler here in the past few weeks, and we still sleep with open iwndows, so our bedroom is cooler, or if it’s something else? If we don’t get pregnant this month I’m going to see the dr, and I’m trying to guage if this is even something to bring up…anyone else experience the same?

    Here’s my chart for reference…http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/sara_tiara

sara_tiara:  It could be the seasonal temps getting lower so your body temp is also lower. That would be my guess. Maybe traveling influenced it too. IDK. It looks like you’re still early days after O, so there’s still time for your temps to shoot up even more. I guess just wait and see how they progress. I wouldn’t call it an issue though, you still O’d so that’s good! ๐Ÿ™‚

sara_tiara:  I agree with MrsFairyBee:  if you temp orally, it could definitely be the weather influencing your temps!

candy11:  FX you O soon! That would be another shorter cycle for you right?

sara_tiara:  I think you ovulated on CD19, and it’s totally fine to have not so high temps after you ovulate. That happens to me all the time. Also, the change in weather can be influencing you having low temps. All the signs indicate you ovulated, so hopefully tomorrow you get your CH.

AOriver:  Yup, but I’m already on day CD18 and temps still going down. So we should see. Are you taking Vitex?

candy11:  Hopefully that’s a pre O temp dip and they’ll shoot up tomorrow ๐Ÿ˜‰ Even if you O in the low 20’s that’s still not terribly long.

I am taking Vitex. I actually switched from the brand that has the powder caps (Can’t remember the name but seems to be a common brand around here) to Gaia which has liquid caps. I don’t know if I owe my earlier O this cycle to that, or if its just a coincidence. This is my 3rd month taking it and I’ve read it sometimes takes that long to see any change. I also started thyroid meds in September & cut my sugar intake pretty drastically, so that could be helping too!

AOriver:  Yeah, anything in the low 20s is not bad. Why did you change brands? Just curious because I’m taking the powder capsules.

candy11:  I changed brands because I sent my husband to get them hahaha. He works right next to wholefoods and the first time he got me the cheaper of the 2. When I ran out I asked him to just get the same brand but they were out this time. So he got the liquid caps aka the more expensive ones. But I think they’re more effective!

AOriver:  Lol! Cool, so as you said the liquid ones may be more effective. I still have like half the bottle. FX you ovulate earlier next cycle! When are you TTC? November?

My Vitex arrived yesterday! I’ve now taken 2 pills. ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m interested to see what happens over the next few cycles. Weirdly enough, I’ve had EWCM (for sure stretch) the last two days (and today), but doubt I’m close to ovulation. This happened last month around this time and I didn’t ovulate until CD21 or 22. Hopefully the Vitex will help some of that stuff out too.
