Hold the phone… After I posted I went to the bathroom to take an opk and I realized my one from this morning with pretty diluted urine was a light positive. I know with hpts, a positive an hour later can be wrong but what about opks? Does the viewing window close at a certain point? Has yours ever dried positive?

Also have you ever gotten a + opk without fertile CM? Today mine is a mix of sticky, creamy but it’s slippery! Sigh…

FreckledFox: I would say it’s a close positive since your test line is also not very dark. For me, I find that my OPKs look more positive when they are still wet. Test again tonight and see what hapens?

It was too hard to edit my photo post on my iPhone … i wanted to add that I just took another opk 6 hours later and this one looks negative. So wtf? Haha

emsy3110: Yeah I’m definitely going to take another one a little later. Usually mine are blazing positive before the pink dye even finishes going across haha. This is odd. This cycle is throwing me for a loop.

FreckledFox: Same for me… when I get a positive I know right away because the line is immediately dark. Odd that you got a negative OPK 6 hours later and still no fertile CM. I saw that you have ovulated closer to CD20 several months ago so maybe this cycle you will O more around that CD?

FreckledFox: That looks positive to me as well. Last month I had a similar situation. The test line wasn’t even noticeable after I dipped the stick, but I could clearly see the control line. So I figured okay, not close to O. But then when I checked it again maybe 20 min later, it was almost positive. And I’m like you where I can usually tell it’s positive within a few seconds of dipping it.

candy11: MiJeS1104: If I had fertile CM or fertile CP I’d be pretty convinced it was positive, but the lack of other signs is so odd! I guess I’ll just wait to see what my temps to!
emsy3110: If this isn’t actually a real positive than yeah I agree! Itll be a later O like I was thinking. I hate being irregular!

candy11: Thanks! I really don’t trust my charts anymore… seems like I always have a “nice” looking chart π Hoping this is the month but I’ve noe decided that I’m just going to assume it’ll be negative until I see those 2 lines. I’m tired of being disapointed.

emsy3110: I understand. It seems to do less harm on us when we don’t get our hopes up. It hurts to get dissapointed month after month. I’m still keeping my fingers crossed for you. I can’t wait to see you in the mama boards.
