@jaguar:  congrats on the temp shift! and thanks for the info.  Ugh I’m scared metformin will be the same for me.  Though my cycles have gotten much shorter, my last one was 27 days!

I’m also kinda waiting on clomid for a reeeally stupid reason.  When my doctor and I talked about it, it was more about her informing me what would be the next step if metformin didn’t work when I wanted to get pregnant, rather than actually talking about me trying.  My doctor is great, I’m actually the second generation of women in my family going to her, and through that she’s become a close family friend.  But thanks to that, she knows me really well, and I’m kinda scared of the judgment I’ll get if I let her know we’re actively trying.  I’m 23, so on the young side, and when I went for an appointment before getting married she was really pushing getting on birth control.  Plus, I know she would not be happy if I didn’t work on losing weight first either.  So yea… that’s my stupid reason lol.

So right now, I’m gonna hope that the metformin works for me, until I get some more courage up or get a new doctor haha.

@macbookbee123:  I don’t have much more than Jaguar to add about PCOS.  Definitely relates to women with PCOS who are insulin resistant.  It can help with blocking/ lowering the amount of some horomones (androgens, testosterone or something) that mess with ovulation (so scientific, I know).  It also can help kickstart weight loss, with diet and exercising, which can also sometimes help increase fertility.

@septcabride Thanks so much for the thoughtful and informative reply! I think you’re right that people have tagged their charts as “implantation spotting” and not something that FF automatically tags.

I’ve received some spotting (very light, scanty, pink) at 6DPO, and nothing else since then and I’m at 9DPO. I’m of course crossing my fingers that it’s implantation bleeding. I guess only time will tell… *cue suspenseful music*

@septcabride:  that’s incredibly helpful info. It’s the first time i’ve seen anything like this in my 6+ months of TTC!

My LP is usually 12 days. So I might be able to hold out until then…but might cave and test early ๐Ÿ™‚

Hello ladies, I’m looking for some expertise opinion!  What do you think is up with my chart?  I’ve had two temperatures below my coverline in my TWW (5 dpo and 9 dpo).  I’m probably just worrying and wondering for nothing because 36.5 is a temperature I’ve had post-O on past cycles, but it’s also fairly common for me to have that temperature pre-O as well.  Should that be a concern? Thoughts?

I’m thinking it might mean sucking it up and starting to chart vaginally next cycle…I’ve always had good luck with mouth temping, but maybe I would have a clearer/more accurate picture overall.

Here’s my chart for this month:

And here’s the link to my past charts if you want to scroll through…http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/376ebb

Thanks for your input! ๐Ÿ™‚
