@iRun2004:  That’s my dilemma, too. I’m going to a wedding on the 12th in Ottawa, so chances are I’ll be testing Friday morning, too. That is, unless I get a wicked burst of self control. Hooray for TWW buddies! Any weird signs or symptoms thus far?

@ chucknorrisFTW no i wasn’t on any BC using the app.. I have been off of it for about a year.  I’m going to stop using the Iperiod app and stick with FF App and website.

The whole charting/temps thing is making more and more sense as the weeks go by and looking through others charts… I didn’t think it would be this complicated to understand. But I really find it interesting to understand your body and actually know what is going on…..   Ill probably wait to test as close as possible to AF day… earlier if I start having “symptoms” …..I have a left over test from last month when I thought I might of been pregnant with my crazy last month cycle ….

I  would be happy if we got a BFP ( even though we wanted to start later this year)… I don’t want to get my hopes up… DH might be a little bummed he has a pricey sports car on order…and says that he’ll have to sell it once we have babies….the sacrifices of having kids πŸ™‚

But in the mean time I enjoy reading about everyone’s experiences…

@redsmarties:  ha ha. Nothing yet. But I guess I don’t really expect anything to happen yet based on what I read in TCOYF.  Plus I have been under the weather for about 2 days so would be hard for me to spot anything!  You?

Mostly at this point I’m trying to figure out what to do for the next week. Thus far the best thing I’ve done is make a date with DH for the 19th for us to go downtown and sit at the bar of Rick Bayless’ restaurant and drink BIG margeritas. So if AF comes at least I have something delicious to look forward to!

To Petor2011 – here is another chart for you πŸ™‚ I am 12DPO and aren’t really TTC although we had a little too much fun a few weekends ago and kind of pulled the goalie. Negative HTP this morning although temps are still high. Charting is great, really informational!

@iRun2004:  Nope, nothing for me. I’ve gotten pretty good at ignoring anything that I feel during the TWW – too many disappointments.

Margaritas sound delicious – I might have to make a date with one of my girlfriends (DH doesn’t drink). Also, if I don’t get a BFP this month, we’re giving it a break, so I’ll REALLY need a drink. 14 cycles with no positive definitely calls for a break…and a margarita.

@StaceyA:  Okay, cool. Thanks for the advice. I will definitely cross my fingers for you for no AF Monday! =) Are you feeling symptomatic at all? Man I freakin did it again. Both you and Bunny now. I woke up at like midnight last night and I remember saying “I HAVE to remember to tell Stacey about that in the morning…” Inevitably I forgot what that something is!!!!! LOL. I will think about it… Maybe it will come back to me at midnight tonight lol.

@elchalten:  Thank you!! I will use the lower one…even though I wish it were the higher one… lol.

@redsmarties:  AF is due for me on May 14. I swore to myself I’d wait at least three if not five days passed missed AF but now I’m gonna try not to POAS until 14 days after O is detected…if it ever is. I will probably still test around that time though even if there is no O because of some freakish glimmer of hope that I spontaneously O’d without a temp rise or my thermom is broken. lol. So I can be your TWW buddy too!

@iRun2004:  Will you be telling your parents that day if you get a BFP???

@ChuckNorris:  Not planning on it. Assuming at some point we manage a BFP we plan to wait the 12-14 weeks before mentioning it to anyone. I’m having a hard time thinking about keeping a secret from my mom for that long, but that first weekend we definitely wouldn’t say anything.

@redsmarties:  Ahhh yes, the margarita friends. I have a friend who knows we’re TTC and she has offered a red wine fest whenever I need it. Very important part of this whole process I think.

@iRun2004:  Omgosh I could not wait until 12 weeks to tell my mom!! Kudos to you if you do!!!!! When I had my MC, I was in my hometown; it happened at my best friend’s engagement party, so my mom and I left and was crying hysterically and couldn’t hide it from her (obviously). She was actually sad that I hadn’t told her sooner, so I think no matter what I will tell my mom the day I get my next BFP.. I’m an only child and she’s a single mom, so we are like sisters and best friends. She was reeeeally sad when I didn’t tell her right away.

You know, I completely agree with that. The stresses of TTC outweigh anything so far in my life. Moving, buying a house, buying a car, remodelling a bathroom, and the wedding experience were all easier for my mental health haha.  I think (as long as you know you’re not pg) it’s important to reeeelax and have a few every once in a while.

@ChuckNorris:  Reading your experience above brought tears to my eyes. I’m so sorry you had to go through that. I’m sure that day was one that is still hard to think about. I’m sure you were so thrilled for your friend and to have that happen is just so sad. πŸ™ I’m sorry. πŸ™ I am glad to hear that you guys are moving forward, you are going to have a LOT of sticky baby dust from all of us when you get your next BFP!

if you think about what you were going to tell me please do! That is too funny!! It’s fnny, I never thought about how much I would enjoy our Wedding bee girls… to laugh, support, vent, question and tell funny stories with. You guys are freaking awesome. πŸ™‚

As far as the symptoms go, I honestly never really have any – so I guess that’s a no. I had some mild cramping this morning but I don’t know if that is AF related or what. I am definitely holding out till Monday before testing again… I don’t think it’s going to happen but I guess anything can happen in the wild world of TTC. LOL. If not.. onto the next month. And to think positively about that, we would be testing on or extrememly close to our first year wedding anniversary πŸ™‚ so that’s fun.

By the way, even with your lower temp spike, it’s still a good looking chart for you so far…  I think you did O…not sure when but that dip/spike apparently are good signs!

@StaceyA:  Oh I didn’t mean in like a negative way, just as to why I wanna tell my momma. Thank you for your kind words!! It definitely wasn’t perfect timing, was very hard to keep smiling for her but she knows I like to go to bed early so it wasn’t strange when I left early… It all worked out! They were both very supportive and there for me when it happened, so you know, in all actuality, it was the best thing. Otherwise, I would’ve been alone at home…which would have been much worse.

I COMPLETELY agree, you bees are the bomb. I feel like this is another circle of friends in a way!!

Boo for no symptoms. I dunno, maybe you’re gonna be super pregnant lady that has like no symptoms! haha. Your chart is goooood looking. Cramping is a good sign. I had cramping with my BFP and lots of ladies on here did. I saw a poll once that was like, “What were your first signs of pregnancy around AF?” and the options were 1 nothing, 2 felt like AF was coming but never did 3 severe nausea and breast tenderness 4 other.  Option 2 was the most popular choice, so you never know!!

I got BUTTERFLIES when you said that ugh I hope I O’d. This waiting game is no fun. The TWW is no fun, but the wait for O when I’ve been regular in the past is just as bad!! lol.

Temps still up for me this morning but i barely slept, so that’s probably why. Hoping to see something tomorrow. Still no AF but not expecting to see her ugly face until monday. Might test tomorrow morning. Figure if it’s a BFN @ 14DPO it’s going to be pretty accurate….
